I've been on both sides of the spectrum when it comes to body weight. I've been overweight and severely Underweight but I'm choosing to talk about what was the hardest transformation for me.
I've realized something. Whether it's gaining weight or losing weight the one thing that I've had to consistently deal with is making the same mistakes over and over and having to repetitively correct myself , correct my thoughts and learn to overcome habits that stop me from reaching a goal.
I was a prisoner to my mind and its self-deprecating jokes. The only way I could comfortably be around others was if I made fun of my flaws... This mentality shut me down to a point where I isolated myself from the world. But I decided it was time for change
•Change starts with the mind. However
On the left, I was eating around 400-800 calories a day, avoiding all sources of protein and calcium while training 4 hours , 6 days a week. I would go on the elliptical, stair master and jump rope in one training session. I would do a 1-2 hour HIIT session every now and then. The middle pic is at the end of my bulk, I was eating a lot but intuitively - kinda just doing what I want and experimenting with lifting heavier. On the right is me now on the
Im eating over 5 times the amount of protein than the first pic and making sure I get all the calcium my body needs. My diet is more calculated as my goal right now is fat loss while maintaining muscle
