When flowers just smell SO good 🌸💛
Each and everyone of us will go through hard times!! Today, my thoughts are turned to those who are placed in the circumstance of morning. As I sat in the chapel at the funeral of my uncle Dick, I was impressed as his brother spoke of gratitude. That attitude of gratitude that my uncle always displayed. This was so profound, because my uncle, has endured some very difficult challenges in his life, being a star athlete, who was in a life altering accident, that left him paralyzed, wiping away the plans he had for his future. Despite his trials he pressed on, with a positive attitude and a heart full of gratitude. He saw the bigger picture, then just this mortal life. ♥️ Then tonight, I visited the viewing and hugged a friend, who is enduring a life changing trial herself! She too, despite her heartbreak of loosing her eternal companion is full of gratitude. Gratitude for the overwhelming support and prayers that help to strengthen her. None of us ask for times of distress! But I believe that as we face these times as my uncle and friend do, with faith, hope and gratitude. Turning to our Savior to sustain us, then we will be able to endure well those things that are placed before us. We will find those opportunities to grow and be ambassadors of our Savior. We will be able to come closer to him and see his hand in the details of our lives!! I am so grateful for their examples, examples that fill my heart with gratitude and give me that desire to be a better person. ♥️♥️♥️
Flowers and babies, what more do you need in life?🌹🌸✨ In the past 72 hours I was blessed with a new nephew and niece. Callum Thrasher and Leia Lee. Leia is 7.5 pounds while Callum is 3.5. My niece is doing amazing and my nephew is amazing but needs some more time in the NICU since he didn’t get enough time inside of his mommy. On December 1st I will be having an auction of Harry Potter decor items to raise money for Callum and his families medical bills as his mom is also in the hospital recovering from the complications that led to the emergency C-section. If you aren’t interested in something like that but still want to help, please see the link in my bio for their GoFundMe. Thank you🖤
I know right!!! We really are blessed to live this life we’ve all been granted.
Sometimes you just need to stop and smell the flowers.
Or just take yourself out and connect with amazing women, a little time to chat, some time to yourself without the kids, hang out with people who are your closest and those you just met.
What a lovely day & I’d tag everyone but I’ll forget someone 😬. But thank you beautiful Ange @bespokebotanics

It honestly was such a lovely day & one of my best days I have had all year. I finally felt a glimpse of myself today.

I LOVE this quote so much! 😍 It is so true isn’t it?!? When we sincerely give thanks, don’t we feel the deep love that our Heavenly Father has for us!! I see Him in all of the details of our lives, during good times and not so good times. Today, we had our Stake training for primary. I absorbed the goodness of feeling the spirit during the meeting! How grateful I am for opportunities to be taught by the spirit! Our presiding Stake presidency member shared a very touching story, I am positive that EVERY person in that room felt the spirit, testifying and teaching them! He spoke of a busy mom with a little child, her youngest, following her around as she went about her household tasks, asking her questions all along the way, like why is grandpa so old. He asked the question, how old is Heavenly Father? His mom gave him the answer, telling him to go pray and ask Him. So the child wondered off and was gone for like 10 minutes, He came back into the room and asked his mom, what does infinite mean? Our Father knows us & loves us. He will answer as we pray to him! Especially those prayers of our little children! How grateful I truly am for prayer!!! ♥️♥️♥️
My sweet baby girl! She’s such a pleaser. I’m just so proud of the person she is inside and outside and everything in between. There is not one day that passes that I don’t stop and squeeze both my babies and give thanks for the blessing of each of them. #stopandsmelltheflowers #schoolpictures #3yearoldclass @krystle336
More vibrant this year, it seems, than anyone can remember, everyone is completely mesmerised by autumn’s colours. I went out today and the vibrancy of the leaves made me want to stop and pick up every single one. I sometimes want to absorb everything around me so much that it overwhelms me. I don’t want the sun to set on a perfectly crisp autumnal day, I don’t want the light to slowly fade and the darkness to engulf the magic of the day. But that’s why we have to make the most of NOW. Absorb the moment, let the glowing colours wash over your skin in the softly fading light. Bend down to pick up that perfectly shaped little pebble and carry it with you in your pocket for the rest of the day, secretly running your thumb over its smooth surface as you carry it along with you. Stop the car to have a really good look at that beautiful view that you’re whizzing past, just pull over for a couple of minutes and make them count. You’ll remember these things. You’ll remember stopping to look, feel, hear and see. These are the real treasures we can collect and keep with us in life.
