It was an honor to be a part of the 9th Annual Live Out Loud Charity (LOLC) event this year and show support against bullying and promote suicide prevention.
While many will never read this, as I am not a very large influence to the world currently, I feel it is just as equally important to share. The love, acceptance, and genuineness that I experienced at LOLC has shown me such a beautiful side of people, and it would be wrong of me not to be honest and genuine back, no matter how few people are influenced or changed by my words. It was a lot of significance to me that the phenomenal designers Mario Garrido and Jorge Diaz chose me to be the opening of the metamorphosis change over, because change and overcoming depression has been a theme in my life many times over. Beating depression and transforming into the person I am today with the purpose I am driven towards now has been the hardest challenge of my life. This message is to anyone that is struggling out there, anyone that feels alone, anyone that is questioning who they are and why they are here. I have been there, because everyone has the most difficult and elusive question of "Who am I?". I am not afraid to show such honesty, because someone out there might need to hear that there is support for them when they feel like there is no one that will listen. I am a stranger to many, but I have always been the person that people come to when they need help, and I plan to always be that person. Come bully me if it will prevent you from bullying someone else if it will give you peace of mind. Come talk to me if you need someone to listen when you feel no one else will. We all share the same experience, and we can not be afraid of our own ego if you want to change and grow. We must break out of our shells, break the silence, lift each other up, and together we will make the metamorphosis of a better existence for everyone.
