I recommend an early morning walk through Kabukicho - Tokyo’s redlight district. These guys are male hosts who have just finished their shift, whilst the streets are sprayed clean and most people are on their way to work. I stopped and had a quick chat and took a quick pic.
It often surprises me how open people are in Japan to having their photo taken, most people seem to take it as a compliment and are very comfortable in front of the lens.
After a long business trip, I finally got home. The flowers in my backyard still bloomed as brightly in summer as they had in Spring. Home, I’m found, is not a place. It is carried with me, every where- my suitcase full of hearts, and moments and warmth.
