The place is coming together nicely. Got the TV and Sonos speaker mounted in the living room today and managed to put away some of our things. Ran a few errands to pick up some storage items and even searched for a bed for Laila’s room along with some chairs for the dining room table. Decided to just place an order online for those items because of the bigger selection and ease of delivery.
It’s exciting to see everything coming together, yet it’s a lot of work. In the end it’s worth it.

I want to use this post to highlight the importance of training INTENSITY. .
I remember back when I started training, I’d push myself until I felt the ‘burn’, then stop, sure that it was ‘enough’.
But, Truth is, it’s not.
We have to push PAST and THROUGH that, because the feeling of the ‘burn’ is only the beginning.
We have SO much more to give from there.
We must develop the mental fortitude to take ourselves to a place of pain, and possible failure.
And keep GOING.
Because once we unlock that skill, we STOP holding ourselves back.
And progress and growth is inevitable.

He has ask for Job to pray for his friends so that they might be forgiven and once again find favor with God. Can you imagine being tasked with such? With knowing that because of your prayer someone else’s life will be better? Lucky for us we live in a New Testament world. This task is ours every day if we want it. God wants us to speak for Him and of Him to all people. And He wants us to come to Him on their behalf as well. Granted we may never get to hear it straight from Gods lips in a specific reference, but it is there. Lets take up the call! I challenge you today, in the next 24 hours choose someone you know and love and pray for them. Pray hard, out loud, with feeling. Ask God to forgive them where they need forgiveness to heal them where they need healing whatever special or specific needs they might have lift those up. Be that persons Job. Got defeated yesterday but hit a PR on the Log Press today 🎉🤣🙈 before last competition I hit this for one but needed the Inzers as well. The second rep is not as solid - but I just gotta keep working on technique.

2nd workout of the day done and this one was even more intense than the first. This Barry’s Bootcamp class was a mixture of cardio on the treadmill and ab work on the floor.
The intensity stayed high the entire time and it was easy for me to make the excuse that it was my 2nd workout and quit altogether, but with my friends and the instructor constantly motivating and pushing me I couldn’t quit on them.
See, I’m not Superman and I don’t claim to be. We all struggle at times and we all definitely have to start somewhere. Even your favorite trainer and coach needs a trainer and coach too. Iron sharpens iron. Now it’s time to rest up and recover for the rest of the day.

This cut has treated me well. I’m down 9 pounds since starting 2.5 weeks ago & feeling stronger than ever. After taking some time for mobility work and correctives I’m ready to smash some weight again (also, I finally hit 230 on deadlifts eeek) vids coming soon 🙂
