I’ve shared before I struggled being confident in my femininity. Growing up I didn’t talk much about “girl things” with anyone. I was embarrassed and didn’t want to stand out.
was my first official relationship. We started dating my sophomore year of college and married 1.5 years later. I remember on our wedding night being sooo nervous. I had curves and a whole lot of insecurities. Pregnancy a few years later, and then #DiastasisRecti
.... and my confidence should have been SHOT.
I gotta give my hubby credit first.
In EVERY season, he’s gone out of his way to ensure me I’m the most beautiful woman in the world...but there was something IN ME that came alive ✨ when I finished that 1st month of “Psycho” ... that Shaun T workout back in the day, when I picked up that 1st dumbbell, crushed a 30 min workout at 38 weeks preggo, and defied all obstacles of DR and pushed my fitness limits to the max.
When I became the girl who decided to invest in herself.
Decided she was worth it.
Decided she COULD do hard things...
my confidence in myself and as my hubby’s sexy intelligent wife.... SOARED!!! And even on hot mess, hairy leg, surgical drains hunched over from a #tummytuck
...days, I hold my head high cause fitness taught me to believe in a deeper worth.
Can I say one teeny tiny thing?
