Around the holidays, stress can pop up in greater strength. We want everything to be just right, everyone to be feeling good and there’s extra planning along with budgeting. If I feel I’m going towards a stressful moment, it’s time to do things that make me smile or laugh. Laughter seems to be great medicine for many things. Watch a comedy, turn off the news, decorate, read, get with friends, dance, sing... just find your forest of happiness. 😁
People can be supportive, encourage by their words and give tons of material. Those are all wonderful, but until you really believe in yourself, you won’t achieve your best. You have what it takes! One step at a time.

This was my view for much of yesterday, a sickly boy at home. He's still at home today, still wheezy but in better spirits so that should be interesting (high energy kid + recovery + feeling better while still actually needing rest = cabin fever, whoop whoop!).

Happy Birthday to me! Love getting old. Back pain was so severe today I actually opted for the medical route. So steroids and muscle relaxers have begun. Plugging in my new heating pad and gonna stretch out with Cutty. I’m hoping I don’t get loopy with this stuff so please disregard any stupid texts later.
