Your love is the real thing it's a real thing / It's the air I breathe / And Your love it's got a hold on me and it's holding me / It is everything it's the real thing
Some experimentation done in my Alternative Techniques class! For this, I painted 16mm film strips with white paint and black India ink and ran it through a projector. This class is super fun and I’m excited to keep playing around! ✨
Vector magic in 7th grade! 7th graders in graphics & Multimedia finished their semester with these amazing vector portraits.
It was breakfast time in 8th grade Graphics & Multimedia! Students had to use all the tools in their tool box and their knowledge of design to come up with a cereal brand of their own design.
All I know is that these boxes would fly off the shelves! Good job, everyone!
So every year to end the 8th Grade Drawing/Painting semester students start their final capstone project. They have a research packet where they have to decide on medium, subject matter, and then research an artist to inspire them. They thenget to work on artwork that THEY feel called to make. It’s one of my favorite projects to watch commence.
AND WOULD YOU LOOK AT SOME OF THE RESULTS? WOW! The whole 8th grade contingent should feel proud of the hard work they’ve put in this semester!
Stay tuned for another post of more work tomorrow!

""This thesis focuses and critiques TEMPORALITY within architecture. By looking at the affecting factor that TIME and DECAY have on architecture, a BIOLOGICAL approach analyzes and speculates a future where architecture systems incorporate natural systems such as adaption, transformation, growth, re-nourishment, self organization...""
Ad & Graph students Paula Dopuda and Ava Garciano worked with copywriting student Allegra Wiesenfeld to make these print/OOH ads meant to highlight the versatility of the On Wheelz brand
Sarah Beaudoin’s Thesis “Casting Contradictive Landscapes” aims to bring functionally obsolescent architectural elements to the forefront of design analysis, in the pursuit of architectural character over typology. The analysis is not of buildings, but rather how their recognizable ordinary elements can adopt alternate personalities, identities, and attitudes to the landscapes in which they inhabit.
