Yesterday at the Criminal Justice Reform Summit was a great day spent with those putting in the work to bring people home from prison, and change these laws that so disproportionately affect our communities.
thank you for having me come out and for our always inspiring conversations, you are pure art. @ShakaSenghor
always a pleasure to talk with you and see the work you are doing. What you have accomplished since we met a few years ago is amazing. @KimKardashian
is truly putting in the work and educating herself on our system of slavery. I was beyond happy to hear her say she is not just focusing on non-violent cases. After visiting prisons she now understands the tremendous injustices that people are up against. When you hear the details of @MeekMill
case you are literally brought to tears. That man has been on parole for a crime he did not commit since he was 18 he is now 31 and has been to jail about 4 times for ridiculous parole violations. You can only imagine what parole is like for those less fortunate than him. @mrs.moniquebrown
has a special place in my heart and I am more grateful than I can put into words for the work she is doing. Also Thank you @Shadun56
for dressing me for this event, you came through right on time.
