a mile earlier and I basically took the day off from working out cuz it was arm focused so I still can’t really do much there! I did spend the morning spraying the carpets and I vacuumed AGAIN! Honestly I saw no evidence of flea infestation! But in 2 weeks I may do again! I’ve never had this problem! Hoping I’ve cleaned everything well enough ! Makes me not want to walk the pups! It’s just very bad this year! I’m gonna have to be super vigilant cuz having fleas is my worst nite mare! Any kind of bug infestation for that matter!! Now I’m just waiting for my kids n granddaughter to get here! Saturday morning coffee chats are the best. Self care comes in a lot of ways. To some it’s a sweaty gym session, a bouquet of fresh cut flowers, clean house, a new outfit etc. Today it was coffee and a cookie with a friend. Time for the sunflower fields! .

This run was a bit difficult, but I finished. See ya later mountain. Adios. So glad I get to take a break from running down Mt. Charleston. Now to try and recover from this run. Legs feel fine. It is my stomach and head that is giving my the problems.
Well I had all these plans to get my hair done early today but my 🔴 got the better of me 😐 . So bummed cause I even missed 2 group workouts with some #tiusisters

Crow pose used to be something I thought I would “NEVER” be able do. Today our yoga instructor said “you were all created in unique and beautiful ways” and that really struck a cord with me. For the record, if you have a sweet tooth and you’re trying to cut out sugar, this stuff is amazing!!! It’s rich and smooth and tasty and everything you want in a little bite of seemingly sinful heaven!
There are tons of recipes on Pinterest, but I just combined almond butter, melted coconut oil, honey, coconut flakes, and a pinch of pink salt. 🙌🏼😈
⚠️Warning- this is delicious, but also high calorie since it’s basically all healthy fats (almond butter+coconut oil) so enjoy but don’t get carried away. A good lesson in balance. A little is good and healthy, but too much of anything is too much⚠️
Attempted Week 3's Kettlebell workout today. I say attempted, as I had a little "helper" today in the gym, (swipe through to see the evidence) which tends to get a little bit distracting 🐶

Forgot to log my food yesterday. M1 smoothie, M2 🍎 w/pb, M3 guac quinoa bowl (pictured), M4 Greek yogurt, M5 Trader Joe's tofu wrap. Then it went down hill I ate a considerable amount of salt n vinegar chips and grazed at a party on cheese bites and more chips. Parties are hard for me to eat healthy at. Oh hey, let’s run a little solo half marathon on this Saturday. ✨ 13.1 miles DONE and pretty darn sure that was my longest training run I’ve had in years!!! I was actually all geared up to run 14, but made the call to call it a day at the half marathon distance when a quick calculation meant I would run out of water if I continued on - despite packing and drinking 76 ounces of water, when the real feels are 97 degrees, it just becomes straight up dangerous not having water on hand. Proud of my efforts and I know I’ll get to that 14 mile mark this training cycle. ✨ How was your run this morning - did you run long or see anything cool while you were out?
