Poniedziałek a u mnie znowu wypadły nogi 😂 Dalej katuje się sporą objętością przy stosunkowo małych ciężarach ale już niedługo. Dwa trzy takie treningi i zacznę wchodzić na ciężary. Czas do zawodów leci jakoś strasznie szybko. Dzisiaj siady dalej na 135kg w czterech głównych seriach po 6 i ciągi na 155kg. Nie miałem weny, za mało wypiłem wody i bolała mnie głowa. Ciągle zapominam o piciu wody. Masa wchodzi aż za dobrze i już nawet w luźnej koszulce widać jak zalało mi schaby 😂😂 Akcesoryjnie dodałem #sumodeadlift chociaż mi nie leży ale czuje że pomaga mi wyrównać i otworzyć miednice. Były też wykroki ze sztangą 70kg i dzień dobry na ławce 50kg. Na filmie widać że nie trzymam prosto dolnego odcinka pleców ale taka już moja uroda. Ciągi w ten sposób chyba z lenistwa żeby szybciej je mieć za sobą ale w poprzednim cyklu przed zawodami też tak robiłem i zaliczyłem progres więc nie zmieniam. Jednak gdyby się komuś chciało mnie skrytykować to chętnie poczytam 😀 Tylko nie róbcie tak w domu 😜 To nie jest bezpieczna technika dla początkujących. Ho deciso di apportare qualche cambiamento alla routine di allenamento, stravolgendola completamente. Attualmente lo split prevede: - giorno 1: quadricipiti, glutei, petto e spalle - giorno 2: bicipiti, tricipiti e richiamo di dorso e petto - giorno 3: femorali, dorso e spalle Ne ho approfittato per sperimentare; era parecchio che non provavo le spinte con manubri su panca e sono piacevolmente sorpreso del risultato (5x5 da programma con manubri da 40kg decisamente leggeri rispetto alle mie aspettative - il problema è la mancanza di manubri più pesanti, quindi sarò costretto a tornare alla panca piana). L vera sorpresa di oggi, però, è stata la prestazione nel #sumodeadlift ; è stata la prima volta nella sua attuazione pratica ed ho deciso di andare cauto sui carichi, ma penso di poter aumentare dalla prossima volta. Tutto ciò è da monito per far capire che bisogna sempre provare qualcosa di nuovo, non farsi dominare da paure o ansie inutili. L’unico modo per superare l’incertezza è affrontarla di petto, testando i carichi ed insistendo fino ad ottenere il risultato desiderato! Sumo Deadlifts 🍑 . . . . These are really good at the beginning of your workout after you’ve warmed up your glutes and hamstrings. Make sure your feet are wider than hip distance, toes are slightly turned out and have your hands close together on the bar. When lifting the bar make sure it stays as close to your shins as possible and then squeeze your bum all the way until you’re stood straight. This weight was a bit light for me so when I lowered it bounced a bit too much so have a play around and see what weight feels comfortable for you then go heavier each set! This exercise is really good for the booty and you can afford to go heavy 🍑

My muscle-mind is not good, i can not fully feel my muscle when i work out. That is a bad thing when you want to gain more muscle. There is one thing you can do to have better feeling. That is looking at the muscle you are working. Raw Nationals... what a great place to end my first year of Powerlifting! So much fun with my gym family and powerlifting team- there wasn’t a louder group of people there... we truly brought the hype! I didn’t quite have the meet I was hoping for- ended up having some hard circumstances to lift under... I got sick on Wednesday, ended up losing 4# in the 3 days prior to the meet, despite my best efforts to eat and stay healthy. Weighed in almost 20# below the top of the weight class (75.4kg in the 84kg class). I slept terrible and still am hurting from my bike accident. BUT, I am proud that despite these circumstances, I did hit a meet PR for total, bench (+11#) and deadlift (+6#), broke my own state deadlift records, and the state push-pull record (Bench/deadlift total). I missed my last squat attempt, which I’ve hit in the gym a few times, so my last squat was 308# (@ RPE 🍰). Went 3/3 on bench... they were a little more conservative than I was planning on going, but I ended up crushing my last attempt @ 193#. I wanted to be able to go for a big deadlift PR that I know I have in me, but after missing my 2nd deadlift attempt due to just poor execution, I had to redo 408#, which I hit the second time for a small PR. I still PRed my total by a whole 2.5kg 🤣 at 412.5kg (909#) and finally achieved the status of a “randomly selected” drug tested athlete! Lol. Just being there was a huge blessing, and I know this is just the beginning of my journey. Thank you SO much to my @northweststrength family and my friends that were all there supporting me, had me live streaming on their TV, watching online, or just following through Instagram- it really does mean a lot! Thanks Coach @danielfelixlibre for believing in me and taking care of all the things, all after crushing his own Primetime meet the evening before. I have grown so much in this sport in just part of a year working with this guy at NWSC! Also big shoutout to @awesomevic1971 for helping handle and being the best “Team Dad” ever! I can’t wait to have a great meet and be able to show what I’m really capable of- because it’s about to get real interesting this next year!! 💪 Let’s GO!
