@indiewire just published “The 35 Best Movie Posters of 2018” which included my illustrated poster for @piercingmovie for the #sundancefilmfestival . The film’s been picked up by @universalpictures , who did their own poster, so it’s nice to know that some people saw and liked it the original!... “Long before Universal nabbed U.S. distribution rights to Nicholas Pesce’s “Piercing,” the film premiered at Sundance and created buzz with this brilliant illustrated poster. Fun and twisted, the one-sheet is the perfect introduction to Pesce’s adaptation of Ryū Murakami’s novel.” #illustration#movieposters#illustrator
I’m spending the weekend in North Carolina this weekend & I can’t stop singing the “Sweet Carolina” song by Neil Diamond!

[First image release] We love how @sundanceorg talks about our film (TO THE STARS)... “Martha Stephens (co-director of Land Ho!, 2014 Sundance Film Festival) directs this period piece with flair, utilizing classic black-and-white landscape cinematography to create an aesthetic feast. On one level, this is Iris’s coming-of-age tale, a story about finding power and comfort in one’s own skin. Yet Stephens also infuses the film with elements of the western genre to tell a deeper story, about women as outsiders in a time and place of repression and intolerance.” 🎥🍿

The Sundance Film Festival showcases the work of independent storytellers from film and theater. It is the largest independent film festival in the United States. Ghode Ko Jalebi Khilane Le Ja Riya Hoon - directed by our alumni Anamika Haksar has been chosen for this prestigious film festival for 2019, in the New Frontier Program.
Finally got to see the film Science Fair last night and it was great! I met the Director/Writer/Producers at Park City TV during Sundance earlier this year and have been keeping an eye out for the film ever since. Thankfully, the Park City Film Series brought it to town last night and I went to check it out with Daisy. Inspiring film! Check out the portraits of Darren Foster and Cristina Costantini (the Director/Writer/Producers).
