These oatmeal banana pancakes🥞 represent a joining of my past and my future.
I'm sure that sounds so corny, but let me explain.
I began my journey to a healthy lifestyle 10 years ago, when I made my last 'New Year's Resolution' 🍾🎉and started making promises to make positive changes in my life no matter the time of year.
This is when I started learning how to make things from scratch, and not just from a box. I started learning yoga🧘♀️, I tried the @ww
method-which was a great introduction into ingredient labels! I didn't see the results I was looking for, but I started small and kept adding onto what I learned.👩🍳
Over the years I have said goodbye to gluten🍞, dairy🥛, sugar🍫, eggs🍳, soy and nightshades🍅🥔🍆🌶. Some of these things have crept in over the course of being pregnant and having children, and just life in general.
But back to why these pancakes are so special, because they are made from an immune support cereal recommended by my wonderful naturopath, Dr. Rife @pugetsoundfamilyhealth.
We wouldn't have these everyday, but they were great for Sunday morning.
