Breakfast bruschetta 🍅🌱🥖 on homemade flatbread 👩🍳 Socca is a simple flatbread made with chickpea flour, water, olive oil & salt. The mix is left to sit (overnight in this case) & then cooked somewhat like a pancake. This delicious flatbread is super versatile & a great higher protein GF option. Rub the bread with garlic, add avocado, tomato, salt, red onion & basil 🌿
Happy Sunday everyone!
Decided to give Tiann’s waffles a try since the beef sandwich that @keryew
raved about is only available during weekdays.
Totally not the usual kind of waffles you would get elsewhere as the batter is made of almond, chia seed, egg, rice and coconut. So good that i am actually a fan now. 👌🏻
Not for those who only look for crispy waffles.
The usual greedy me went for their full size ($16) that allows me to choose 2 toppings. I chose scrambled eggs and avocado smoked salmon, topped up $6.50 for additional sausage.
After coming here with me, i went with my hub to have bak kut teh. ☺️

Lets be real. When it comes to our choices; it feels good to do what may be easier in the short term but not as beneficial for the long haul vs. a little harder now; to reap exponential benefits in the future. Likeeee... most of us.
But the key word is “feel.” What’s hard doesn’t always FEEL the best right now; in fact it sucks sometimes. Like passing on that second glass of wine, or washing the dishes in the sink at the end of the day, the last 5 mins of a workout, or saying no to our kids knowing they will throw a fit.
But how good will it FEEL when you don’t wake up groggy, have a clean kitchen to wake up to, you rack up an extra 25 mins of workouts for the week, and having a kid who respects you more? ALL that didn’t feel great at the time; feels WAY BETTER in the long haul.
So think about it; when will you let FEELINGS stop ruling over you and your goals? .. how about TODAY?!? 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
