If the history of how women in this country were treated was a movie it would be a very sad, difficult and tragic movie. On the 25th of May we have a chance to change this. Let’s end this reel with a yes and start a new one. A better one. One that shows support for the women in this country. One that gives them the choice. .
I’ll be voting yes for the “hard cases”
I’ll be voting yes for the “social cases”
I’ll be voting yes so a scared girl or scared woman does not have to face a crisis pregnancy alone.
I’ll be voting yes so girls and women everywhere can access safe medical care.
I’ll be voting yes so that no one has to put their health and life at risk when they order abortion pills online.
I’ll be voting yes so the girl who’s contraception failed despite take every precaution has choices.
I’ll be voting yes so no one has to get on a plane when facing one of the hardest things they’ll ever have to do.
I’ll be voting yes because everyone deserves control over their own body and life.
I’ll be voting yes for compassion and support. .
Please join me in voting yes and supporting the girls and women of Ireland.
Support your wife, your daughter, your sister, you granddaughter, your girlfriend, your friend.
Let them know you have their back. That their not alone. .
Trust them! .

Stay strong and keep moving forward. You have come a long way, but there is no stopping now 💪🏽
Guys the popsicle truck came by last night! I was sooo excited. We've lived in Branson 13 years, first time ever. My kids were laughing so hard at me. I heard the "music" and started yelling "popsicle truck'" and jumping up and down. They had never seen one or heard the music in real life. Only on tv. Poor deprived kids. I'm still smiling thinking about it. So... what do you get and what do you call the truck? My friend was saying it's Ice cream truck. I always got the bomb pop. 😁
It doesn’t matter how many times entrepreneurs read their affirmations, the fears arise, challenging them every step of the way. Here are some fears to too overcome.
1. Not knowing where to start.
Just take a step forward and do what makes sense. The path will unfold as you continue to walk.
2. Not being an expert.
There is no shame in continuing to learn. In fact, this is a requirement for continued growth.
3. Being considered crazy.
Accept your craziness and then appreciate that it's the crazy ones who end up making a difference in the world.
4. Not being believed in.
Even if at first no one believes in you, people will learn to believe in your results.
5. Not attracting customers.
Work your marketing plan feverishly, study to increase your level of expertise and be kind to yourself because you've already made it further than most.
What are some fears you have had and how did you turn that around?
Maybe Emerald is more your colour? Fits a pregnancy bump and has button breastfeeding access. All $59
Hands up if you watched the Royal wedding last night!? I swoon over events like this. The flowers, the cars, the incredible hats!
So one thing that made me really sad was seeing so many of my friends comment on Meghan's appearance.
Boring, underwhelming, zero wow factor and plain were just a few of them.
Notice it's never guys who say things like this. It's always women.
We do this to ourselves.
Can you imagine the pressure she may have felt? Not only did she have her special day broadcast to 2 billion people world wide, walk down the isle alone and handle the ceremony with grace, but she also apparently has to WOW us.
Let's stop this please.
Because if we can so easily pick a part another woman's outfit or comment on how much better she could have looked etc then it makes it SO MUCH EASIER for us to talk about ourselves in the same way.And we perpetuate this crazy ideal of perfection that we all know is just so damn hard to live up to.
Let’s just be kind aye.
When we talk about women lifting women up bla bla bla it should apply to e every woman.
Even if they are royalty or celebrity. Plus there was so many incredible things to admire about that gorgeous wedding.
What do you think?
Happy Sunday lovelies! 🤩 Lately I’ve been working on some of my own personal projects like my website (and some illustrations that have been scribbles in a sketchbook for far too long!) With personal projects its so nice to have the freedom to create what you want and I’m loving it! 💕🌈 Enjoy the sunshine and blue skies today 🌼✌🏼
The Nordic Countries are an inspiration in many ways including #genderparity
in the workplace. They have spent the past 50 years bringing more women into the workforce which has added as much as 20 percent to economic growth per capita, the OECD estimates. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀
How have they done this you may ask?
• generous paid leave for new parents
• subsidized and high-quality early childhood ⠀⠀⠀education and care ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ • and out-of-school-hours care ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In other words, they support families. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
isn’t just good for women. It’s good for business, the economy, men, and all of society. Let’s step up #usa
