🍁Pumpkin or sweet potato Scones with Spicey Glaze recipe🎃🍠🍂
✔️Sugarfree & glutenfree.
✔️Vegan if vegan butter & egg sub.
🍁240g sorghum flour mix* or flour
🍁1 tbsp baking powder
🍁1/2 tsp salt
🍁1 tsp xanthan gum
🍁1/2 tsp cinnamon
🍁1/4 tsp nutmeg (🇧🇻muskat) or cardamom
🍁1/4 tsp clove (🇧🇻nellik)
🍁7 tbsp sukrin gold
🍁6 tbsp cold butter
🍁110g sweet potato or pumpkin mash
🍁3 tbsp milk
🎃*Sorghum Flour Mix:
🍂180g sorghum flour(🇧🇻durra)
🍂240g potato starch/corn starch
🍂120g tapioca flour
🎃Spicey sugarfree Glaze:
🍂200g sukrin melis
🍂2 tbsp milk of choice
🍂1/4 tsp cinnamon
🍂a pinch cloves
🍂a pinch cardamom
Preheat oven to 215 degrees C. Line baking sheet with paper.
Mix sorghum flour mix, baking powder, salt, xanthan gum, spices, and sukrin gold. Cut in the butter until mixture looks like crumbs.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the pumpkin, milk, and egg. Fold pumpkin mixture into dry ingredients until we'll mix.
Form dough into a ball and turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Pat the ball into a circle about 2,5 to 4 cm thick. Using a sharp knife, cut dough into 6 equal triangles like a pizza.
Using a spatula, transfer scones to baking sheet, evenly spacing them apart. Bake scones for ca 15 mins, or until golden. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. While scones are cooling, prepare the glaze.
Combine all glaze ingredients in a bowl. Apply to warm scones by using a pastry brush or by drizzling glaze on top. Allow to cool completely. Then enjoy! Great with jams or cheese.

Las cremas no tienen que ser insípidas ni aburridas.
Ahí va... 1 calabaza pequeña
3 zanahorias 🔸Ponlo todo al horno ( calabaza con la piel y boniatos envueltos en papel plata) 🔸180grados 1 hora aprox 🔸Sofríe 2 cebollas con un poco de sal y pimienta. 🔸Sacar todo del horno si todo está hecho ( pinchar con tenedor, si está suave, ya está listo) 🔸Mezclar todo el robot de cocina o cualquier cachivache que tengáis para triturar. 🔸Ves añadiendo agua hasta conseguir la textura que os guste!

PURPLE SWEETS 😘🍠💜 what’s new? 😂 well... today I had one of the best days of my life. My mum came to visit me in Brisbane and I missed her so much. We had a lovely breakfast buffet, went shopping like in the good old days and watched “Crazy Rich Asians” 😜 it was so relieving and empowering watching a movie that was mainstream American but represented traditional Asian cultures and inside jokes too... 😉 then we got some sushi and said our goodbyes (but I will see her again in Melbourne this weekend! 💕) and I headed off to West End to dance in complete darkness with 50 other strangers 🕺🏻😱💃🏻 if you’ve never tried ecstatic dance, YOU MUST!!! @nolightsnolycra is one of the best experiences ever. No alcohol, no drugs, no judgement and no lights, you dance with people you don’t even know but you can feel everyone’s positive energy and love ❤️ you can dance like a complete maniac and no one will know! If anything it is encouraged for any body and any age and any race and any gender to just move their body however they like and to just LET GO! I love it so much... I’ve never drunken alcohol or smoked weed or anything but I literally feel high every time I go 😉 today was my 3rd time going and I swear the playlist was MADE for me! The first song that really hit me was “We Found Love” by Rihanna, where I just started crying and jumping like crazy... then right after the tears kept coming as “Black and Gold” by Sam Sparro came on - a song my brother and I used to sing ALL THE TIME on a karaoke PS3 game called Singstar which was so nostalgic and brought me back to my innocence. Then I laughed and swore with Cee Lo Green’s “Fuck You,” connected with my broken heart and inner ABBA at “MamaMia” and to close the night they played “Take Me Out” by Franz Ferdinand - another song my brother and I used to love playing to during FIFA 2008 PS3 matches 🎮 needless to say I had a magical night... you should definitely search up NLNL as there may be one near you! 2 Colored Sweet Potato Steamed Bun 🍠

This steamed bun is filled with 2 colors of sweet potato paste which are purple and yellow. The bun is a purple colored bun, it is very soft and fluffy. The filling by itself is very sweet but when eaten with the bun it is delicious. I recommend eating it while it’s hot!

🌟Mini Sweet Potato Toasts🌟
Talk about having options...this is even better than getting the best of both worlds! 😃
I have lots of stuff in my fridge that I need to use up before we leave for our trip. What better way to do that than to have some sweet potato toast FOUR different ways!? 😍
All I had left we’re small sweet potatoes 🍠 but you could use a bigger one and just cut each slice in half to make 4 different varieties! 😊 I seriously love getting creative in the kitchen and mixing matching different ingredients! Just adds some extra spice to my life 😂
I definitely enjoy being boring some days too and sticking to the basics but life is way too short to be boring every day!! 😁
✨What’s on my plate!?✨
••> So to start, I microwaved my sweet potato for a few minutes to soften up ••> Next, I sliced it into 4 slices and placed them in the toaster ••> Once toasted, I got started with the toppings!!
••> 1️⃣ First up is mashed avocado 🥑 & pomegranate seeds (this is not your typical combo but just trust me, it’s yummy!!) 2️⃣Next is mashed mixed berries & walnuts (I use frozen berries and let them thaw in the fridge and then just stir them and it creates my own clean jelly!) 3️⃣ Third, we have some of the cinnamon pumpkin nut dip I made the other day (see post for recipe!), pepita seeds & pumpkin pie spice👌🏻4️⃣ Last but not least (my personal fave) we have almond butter with fresh raspberries & unsweetened coconut flakes 🥥 .
I seriously LOVED every single one of these! If I had to choose, I’d say the almond butter & raspberry option would be my fave the the others all come in for a very close second!! Let me know what your favorite toast &/or sweet potato toast combo is!! 😊
