Not going to lie - when I first got invited to experience @chifleysydney
's brand new dining precinct - Level One Dining - I was pretty hesistant. I've always associated food courts with poor lighting, cheap interiors, and poorly presented, takeaway style food - definitely not anything #instagramworthy
And that's why #ChieflyLevelOneDining
blew me away with its great interior (so much #marble
!) and very decent, soft lighting! Still can't believe I was able to get a shot like this! 😍
I was also pretty surprised with the presentation from @the_gardens_chifley_square
and the #dairyfree #coconut
smoothie was definitely a winner for me! 😋

MEATLESS MONDAY always looks great with a homemade Spanakopita, filled with freshly cooked spinach and crumbled feta.
I waited 1hr 45mins to get my hands these on the weekend. Sadly missed out on the cracked bowl 😢 but this still tasted absolutely divine!

Re my other photo of the crustacean - people used to think marron were yabbies until the French came to WA and noticed they were a bit different (especially in colouring). They decided to refer to them marron as this is the French word for the colour brown. The name has stuck since. I didn’t even realise that this was a relatively unknown species overseas until someone asked me about it in passing.

Only a few weeks a year. These are the only original native Australian oysters. Much flatter, also pretty brittle, so be cautious to shuck them yourself.

One of us went back to Wagga to visit some family last week and visited a cute little cafe!! ☕️🌸 So if you ever HAPPEN to be in the rural areas, check it out! 💛 Their menu seemed to have a lot of items that could be made #vegan
💐Love the winter florals 💐
The mix platter for two is served in three stages. The first stage consists of hommous, babaghannoush and tabbouli. The second stage consists of lady fingers, falafel and cauliflower. The final stage consists of a single skewer of garlic chicken, kafta and shish kebab, accompanied by salata, tahini sauce and garlic sauce. We also ordered the Malouf bel lahme, which is cabbage rolls filled with rice, minced meat and spices; cooked in a tasty lemon and garlic sauce.
Our ginger and lemon myrtle has proven to be a favourite. Like a healthy ginger beer, the fresh ginger brings a kick & the lemon myrtle brings a citrus bang. This is sure to win over even the biggest kombucha skeptics.
