It was a great pleasure and opportunity to participate with the Wreaths Across America and place a wreath upon a veterans headstone. During the ceremony I heard that a person dies twice, once when their heart stops beating and then again when their name is said for the last time. As we laid a wreath upon each headstone we all spoke the persons name whom we were laying a wreath for so that their name was spoken again. It was a good experience for the girls and this will now become tradition. I could have been out in a blind this morning with my crew Shore Boys Outdoors but this was something I felt was worth missing some of the duckiest weather for. Thanks to all of the veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice protecting our freedoms.
Remember, they are the reason we can do what we love to do!
