Snow and Syrup is a traditional Persian dessert made with mixing fresh snow with syrup. This dessert is prepared and consumed in autumn and winter when there is a snowfall. Grape syrup is the most common type of sweetener for the preparation of snow, but date syrup or other syrups may also be used for this purpose.
Traditionally, the first and second snowfall was not used to make snow and syrup dessert, and this dessert was produced with the third snow and so on.
