These are black Spanish ‘Nero Tondo’ radish (Raphanus sativus), grown for @_southernwild ‘s latest kimchi: daikon and black radish. “It has a medium heat level, and for all its wonderful zingy qualities, is not overly acidic. Go figure. This ferment really feels like a celebration of summer brought about (somehow, someway) from the depths of a Tasmanian September.” Fermenty poetry courtesy of @_southernwild ❤️ .
Love this family friendly hike down to Wineglass Bay. The campsite at the bottom is right on the water and definitely worth the hike! We even watched dolphins swim around the bay at dusk - just perfect
You can take the direct route, 5km each way or do the loop around which is 9km there and then the 5km back out #getoutdoorsandplay
@my_visiting_vet enjoying the view from the first day climb on the Overland Track, Australia. carrying everything for a week on your back was heavy but satisfying. We were actually snowed in after this for a day, but it felt great to push through the terrible conditions. /////
