yesterday on my lunch break to grab a quick bite to eat. I wanted to try something different that I hadn’t had before, so I went with the buffalo chicken sandwich. I was a little scared that that the buffalo sauce was going to be too hot for me, but to my surprise it was more of a mild smoky flavor rather then spicy like hot sauce‼️ it had a slight kick to it, but it was the type of kick that sits in the back of your throat rather then on your tongue‼️ I REALLLLYYY enjoyed not only the buffalo sauce, but the entire sandwich itself👍🏼💯 I customized this sandwich with lettuce, banana peppers and caramelized onions which just added to the delectable flavor‼️🤤 I’m adding this to my favorite sandwiches at Which Wich‼️

🍽: Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with chips and a drink

Creamy + tangy pasta with pastrami-style smoked salmon from Trader Joe’s, scallions, chili pepper flakes and lots of lemon.
Serves 2: Cook about 1/2 lb pasta according to package directions, drain, saving about 1/2 cup pasta cooking water. Return pasta to skillet/pot, add about 1/3 cup crème fraîche, stir until melted and combined with pasta, adding a bit of pasta water if things are looking a bit dry. When things look good to you, plate up the pasta, drape on some smoked salmon, scatter some scallions + chili pepper flakes, drizzle on some lemon juice. Season w salt + pepper at the table (but the smoked salmon should be plenty salty)

It has been abnormally cold and rainy this week in Nebraska - which calls for homemade soup! With asparagus season still upon us, my Silky Asparagus Soup hits all the tastebuds. It’s silky smooth texture makes it hard to not eat the whole pot in one sitting! Give it a try! I’ve included keto and vegetarian subs below.
6 cups Rosemary Lemon Bone Broth
(Sub regular chicken stock
Vegetarian: Sub vegetable broth)
8 red potatoes
2 bunches asparagus
1 yellow onion
5 garlic cloves
2 cups water
1 cup milk
(Keto: Sub 1/2 cup heavy cream
Vegetarian: Sub almond milk)
4 TBS Holland House White with Lemon Cooking Wine
(Sub sherry wine or regular cooking wine)
Shaved Parmesan Cheese
(Omit for vegetarian)
Salt and Pepper
Quarter cut 8 red potatoes. Chop two bunches asparagus. Chop 1 yellow onion. Add asparagus and onion to sheet pan. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Drizzle EVOO. Toss to coat veggies. Roast in oven at 425*F for 20 minutes.
Add chopped potatoes to 6 cups bone broth in large pot. Add 5 cloves garlic. Bring to boil. Let simmer for 20 minutes or until potatoes are soft. Turn stove off. Mash potatoes in the broth. Add in roasted asparagus and onion. Add 4 TBS cooking wine. Use hand held blender or stand alone blender in batches. Blend till silky and smooth. Add 1 cup milk. Blend till smooth. Serve with a sprinkle of salt and pepper and shaved Parmesan.

Who loves cooking with spices? 👐 Tonight we will be enjoying sag aloo, a traditional, healthy Indian side dish, combined with potato, spinach, and spices. 🥘🥘🥘
- 2 sliced sweet potato
- 150g spinach
- 1 red onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1tsp turmeric
- 1tsp cumin
- 1tsp ginger
- 1tsp black pepper
- dash of lemon juice
- pinch of salt
In oil lightly fry onion and garlic, then add all spices and fry for 2-3 minutes.
Add the sweet potato to the pan, add water if needed and cook until potato is soft.
Finally place spinach in pan until cooked.

meaning the amniotic tranquility of being indoors during a thunderstorm. “Chrysalism” has a REAL amethyst cluster in the center, 3D crushed glass, and 5 layers of resin. Updating my Pig Pickin’ Cake recipe this week with new pictures. Not as many as I would have liked because the cake fell off the stand and broke into pieces and before that my backdrop fell on it so I had to fix the frosting. 🤷🏼♀️ Some shoots just don’t go as smoothly as others! 😂
Kintsugi | bas relief | 🖤 you’ve probably seen this trend for some time. According to my friend google, “Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.” I love this idea of repairing the breaks instead of hiding them. We shouldn’t hide our “breaks.” For the black and bas relief, I took inspo from a beautiful cake I saw by @bakewithhue.
I’ve done this technique with white and white but never black and I think it’s so elegant and classy.
