Today is the day for some classics.. Again, the plum is the main star!
Beautiful plum pie with sweet, caramelised filling and crunchy crust perfectly balanced with scoop of vanilla ice cream. Yay autumn 🍁
Recipe soon 🤗
Sunday afternoon tea. This time served with something sweet and delicious, an @ottolenghi #ottolenghisimple
lemon & blueberry loaf cake. Made with an almond flour base so you know it’s super moist & yet it has a surprisingly light crumb. Needless to say it comes highly recommended 😋👅
As it’s starting to get a lot colder it definitely calls for more creamy hot cacao’s...
My trick to get your cacao super frothy and creamy...
Warm up some coconut milk and then pour it in the blender with a tbsp of cacao, sweetener of choice, maybe some adaptogens like this magic brain dust from @moonjuice
for an extra something😉 and then a teaspoon of coconut butter (or oil if you have no butter) - this will get it super creamy. A sprinkle of cinnamon and there you have a healthy delicious hot chocolate.🍫💛
Loving my late lunch, a delicious bowl of Bulgar, tomato & aubergine with lemon yoghurt from @ottolenghi #ottolenghisimple
. Super quick, easy and delicious, plus I’ve got lots of leftovers for later 😋😁👅
and I couldn’t resist pairing these juicy peaches 🍑 with frangipane & pastry. Delicious! 😋👅 have a great weekend 🤪
I often get asked, “what’s one of your favorite recipes that you make?” Easily my banana brioche French toast! It’s absolute heaven. Check out the blog under breakfast and don’t forget to tag me in any posts if you make a recipe!
It is plum season! So what can be possible better than plum dumplings?!
Soft dough, juicy plums, crunchy toasted bread crumbs and silky cream all over it. Just yum! 💛💜
And the great thing about them is that you can make it from leftover mashed potato and have your dinner/dessert ready in no time!
600g mashed potato
Pinch of salt .
Mix all the ingredients (feel free to add more flour if the dough is too sticky)
Roll the dough to about 0.5cm and cut the squares, put plums onto them and shape round dumplings. Cook in boiling water for about 15 minutes (you will know that they are done when they start floating around).
Bread crumbs coating: mix 100g bread crumbs with 2 tbsp sugar (add more if you like it sweeter) and roast in pan until golden.
Cream: add 200ml sour cream to the pan and 2-3 tbsp sugar and heat up. Cover dumplings while hot.
And that is it! Enjoy!
What happens when you put too much frangipane in your tart? Any effort you made to make it pretty gets buried . . . at least it still tastes great #uglybutdelicious
First bake in my new house in Liverpool 🏠 it's Mary Berry's chocolate and vanilla marble loaf cake 😋 turned out pretty well 👌
