Bathroom sink shot inspired by @ohuprettythings
! Except my shot looks less "artfully curated selection of beauty products in the bathroom" and more "crazy lady dumps out contents of medicine cabinet in fit of rage." I'm rolling with it 🙃
Some things hidden in this hot mess:
flaky scalp shampoo: This has become a HG for me the past few months. My first bottle was PR but after I finished it up, I quickly repurchased it! It's really effective on my dandruff AND doesn't strip my hair. Plus it actually smells good.
ultra facial toner: I don't talk about this often but it's amazing in its simplicity. You get 8+ oz for $16. I love using it on a cotton pad after masking, just to make sure I get all the leftover mask residue.
PR): This did nothing for my long hair, but I'm loving it on my freshly chopped, short hair! It adds a light amount of texture and grit to my hair-- giving me that choppy, wavy look.
bonding plex bonding cream: I put off writing a review on this line because I wasn't sure if the shampoo + conditioner were irritating my scalp. So far, I'll say I do like the results of the cream alone! My hair does feel softer and has a more curly shape when I use this on my hair. But my hair is significantly softer when using olaplex 3. So while I like the results of the ogx, I don't think it's a true dupe.
PR) body oil: Omg this totally lives up to the hype. When applied to wet skin, it absorbs so well and keeps my legs hydrated all day long. It also smells delicious! The brand usually comes out with mini kits during the holidays, and I'll def be picking one up because a) it takes me forever to go through full-sized body products and b) the full size is big $$$.
