📍Uttar Pradesh, Northern India 🇮🇳
We spent a day and a night in this train. The trip was very long, long enough to meet local people and talk 🚂
I’ll always remember this train similar to the ones we had in Europa almost a century ago. I won’t go into too much details but it was VERY dirty. Just before getting on the train we bought food but not even 20 minutes later the rice was invaded by small insects
No windows protection, no toilets, no train doors (which was amazing because I could put my head through it to admire the rice fields as far as my eyes could see), no food, many suspicious little bags circulating so that the guys can hold on... but welcoming and caring people with whom I talked all night about everything 🧡
There is a hashtag I love when I post a pic from my 2016 Indian trip it’s #travelrealindia
🛤 The one stinking, the one full of people fighting for their freedoms and rights, the one with an exciting culture, the one...
