🇺🇸 Happy birthday to my favourite person 💙
I wish we could celebrate that together but I can't wait to be back in South Africa with you.
Yes guys, it's time for a bit of traveling after working hard in Brisbane.
Tomorrow, I'm going to explore the Sunshine coast.
In one week, I will enjoy the sun of Surfers paradise
In 3 weeks, I will be back in Cape town for a month.
And you, what is your next destination?

✘ How to get to the Hollywood sign ❤️ description stolen from my friend @thesearchofhappiness
who just completed the exact same walk as us a few days ago 🤭🏃🏻♀️Ps Val has the most gorgeous fun photos so go follow her 📷 i forgot the road names OBVS 😂 Anyways so getting close to the sign is harder than you think. 😑Most people head straight to the Griffith Observatory but it’s actually ages from the sign. 🤫 So head to Lake Hollywood Park. From there you can see the sign already. Lots of people take pictures from here. 🤷🏻♀️ But to get closer walk up Mulholland drive, than down Durand drive, than up Ledgewood drive, than Rockcliff drive, than Deronda drive. When you reach the top you will see a white wall and gates. This might look like a dead end but just walk through the gates of the white wall and DADA! you’re there!!! 🤩🤩🤩

The sun kisses this little sleepy little town goodnight every evening, and every evening we come out to play. It's making me realise how I've missed sunsets and the horizon whilst being cooped up in the city.
Yesterday night and this morning I wasn't feeling so great, I had a high fever and was shivering so today we decided to go by the sea as I know that's where I feel at my very best. We sat there for about an hour or so listening to the waves crash alongside the rocks as the winds have picked up ready for a storm with thunder and lightning tomorrow 🌩 I all of a sudden perked up and fell a little bit better, nature is so powerful that it can have that effect on someone and I know water heals me.
I love Disney! As a child who grew up watching the classics, I'll make sure to get there if the country I'm visiting has one!
So far I have now ticked off three - LA, Florida and now Tokyo!
We only spent half a day here and while it was packed we were able to get on a few rides!
My sister had told me to make sure I experience the Winnie the Pooh ride! So we made a b line and headed straight there for our first ride as soon as we got in. The line moved pretty quickly and we were on it within 20 minutes.
Such an amazing ride! If you haven't been I highly recommended going on it!
We left at about 2ish to go back to our hotel to make sure we were able to get to the robot restaurant in time but after experiencing that, I wish we had spent the whole day at disney!
How many have you been too? It's my goal in life to experience all of them around the world!

Dancing because I made it all the way to the top of the Acropolis with a bump.
People kept saying “omg” and “wow” about my hiking skills under the Greek sun with no water and a baby in my belly. The secret was a very very loving husband who let me hang off his shoulder the entire time. Ha!
The Parthenon has been on my bucket list since I was in high school. Nothing was gonna stop me from seeing this for myself.
If you only knew how close I came to being trampled in order to get this first photo😂 #WORTHIT
🐮 As much fun as it is on its own to see herds of dressed up cows come frolicking down a mountain, the cultural significance of this celebration was so incredible to witness! If all the cows in the herd made it through the summer, then the first cow gets to wear this flower headdress as they come down the mountain. These cows are these herder’s livelihood, so celebrating there being no cow casualties is a big deal! So happy I got to witness such a happy occasion☺️ #myperkspective #myperkgermany

Huge S/O to @socialape
on an awesome vip media event on Wednesday night. Got to meet other bloggers in the CLT area and got to drink free margs (my favorite drink 🍻) 😝 - what better way to spend a Wednesday night!?
What criteria do you use to CHECK a country off your bucket list?
For some people, visiting the “main” landmarks is enough to check a country off as visited. For others, staying for an extended period of time. Still others might say checking a country off a list is just plain silly. Obviously, in theory, checking countries off a list is ridiculous. You could spend years in a country and never really discover it fully- in fact many of us already do this in the places we call home.
Although I don’t believe in checking countries off lists (I keep track of places I visit for fun but it doesn’t mean I consider them “done”), one way I consider a country to be more explored than another is dependent on the time I spend there. Obviously, a weekend in a country is not the same as a year. Also, if you are lucky to explore the country with a local it allows you to really discover the gems and not just the main sights recommended by online blogs and trip advisor.
In Ecuador, I was very fortunate to explore the country with my boyfriend @aldopendola
who is from Guayaquil, Ecuador as well as his family and friends. Having locals with me at all times, not only allowed me to see more and try more but it also allowed me to truly immerse myself in the beauty of Ecuador and what it means to be Ecuadorian. From taking a road trip through two (almost three!) regions and nine provinces; trying just about every exotic fruit I could get my hands on, attending Ecuadorian family gatherings (which are just as much fun as you think 😍), wandering the streets of cities, taking random stops for me to get pictures with llamas (and also get chased by one...), going to markets and watching the artisans and exploring the Galapagos among others I can safely say... Ecuador is amazing (and I’m not done exploring just yet!)

The perfect blogger picture in front of Tower Bridge in London 😅😆
Let’s get to know each other better! I’ll introduce some facts about me in the next pictures. 😝
I’m a HUGE Potterhead 🔮⚡️ I love everything Harry Potter related and have read the books several times! When I lived in England last year, I visited as many locations from the movies as possible. I can’t wait to show you some of them!
I’m a proud Hufflepuff which is pretty clear from the cool socks I’m wearing in the picture 😎
Are you a Potterhead too or is my talk nonsense to you? What house do you belong to? 🏘
I know I haven't posted a photo of myself in a while but Bath is just too pretty. Behind these doors are literally all of your childhood memories. It was like stepping back in time! Are you an 80's or a 90's baby and what was your favourite toy?
Happy Friday! I made myself a pumpkin today! Check my instastories to see how it went 🤔🎃
“Smiling because it’s the weekend..”
Lol jk, I’m working all day and have no weekend plans!
But God is still good and I’m just so thankful for even having somewhere to get to stay in at!🌹 #NetflixAndGil
