I just felted #inspired
by my own journey to want to share this with those of you that are currently in the midst of pursuing, either your #passion
or even in the midst of a new startup life.
I got into the startup life because I was enticed by the idea that I can be flexible with my own time management. Plus I get to do what I am #passionate
But it's also easy to sometimes get too relaxed because you want to relax more and work at a timing that you feel most comfortable. But let me tell you this, sometimes you can end up resting too much to a point when you will #procrastinate
on tasks and probably even feel lazy to do anything.
In the startup journey, you won't always feel #motivated
or be in the right kind of mood to strive for your goals and dreams. Some days you are just going to feel like you don't want to get up, and you are going to find yourself spending an entire day getting nothing done.
Self-discipline is one of the most important lessons I have learned on my journey the last 4.5 years. You might not like it, but you are definitely going to need it if you want to be constantly productive. Self-discipline is going to help you to get things done more effectively and tasks don't get accumulated over time.
Yes the startup/entrepreneurial life does mean that we no longer have to be bounded by a fixed working hour everyday, but it doesn't mean that we can do without time management either. If you are self-disciplined, you can finish 4 hours of work that could originally take 6, and you can rest for the rest of the day. Simple as that. But if you become lazy, you will never finish your work. #startuptips #startuplife #startups #entrepreneurs #entrepreneurlife #timemanagement #flexibletiming #independence #tips #advice #techstartups #socialentrepreneurs #socialentrepreneurship #effectiveness #lessons #experiences #inspiring #motivating #selfdiscipline #selfmotivation #commitment #dedication
