Night markets are a significant icon in Taiwanese culture. They house a variety of food stalls that run business from 5pm to 1am. Among all night markets in Taiwan, ShiDa Night Market (師大夜市) is my favourite. I usually order a scallion pancake with pork slices and eggs, steamed pan fried pork buns, tempura with basil and garlic, and a cup of honey lemon juice with aloes. Sounds a lot? Well, they are on my must-have list.
ShiDa Night Market is not just about the food, but more about the sweet memories I connect with. The market is next to the university I attended. I still remember I had a cup of milk tea before I went to the choir on Tuesdays; I enjoyed a causal lunch in a breezy summer afternoon; and I missed the Friday night dinners with my good friends. In the market, there you find a mood of coziness and comfortable conviviality. Riding my scooter, I choose what I want. I'm very satisfied.
Good food and good memories are twin-born. No wonder why people in Taiwan love night markets!

Saying goodbye after a years worth of friendship, travel and adventure is always hard! 📷 by @kitty_farrer
Jó reggelt! ⛅ Újra egy phrasal verb-öt osztok meg a reggeli kávézgatás közben - ez a DRESS UP / KIÖLTÖZNI. ▶️I'm still a tomboy but I like to dress up and look nice when I go out. / Még mindig egy fiús vadóc vagyok, de szeretek kiöltözni és szépen kinézni amikor elmegyek szórakozni.
▶️ I have to dress up for this event this evening - a suit would be an appropriate choice. / Ki kell öltöznöm erre a ma esti eseményre; egy kosztüm/öltöny megfelelő választás lenne.
➕ DRESS UP ↔️ DRESS DOWN: WEAR MORE INFORMAL CLOTHES THAN YOU USUALLY DO
▶️ I've told the office staff that they can dress down on Fridays.
➕ DRESS UP AS: PUT ON SPECIAL CLOTHES IN ORDER TO CHANGE YOUR APPEARANCE / Az as szócskával kiegészítve új jelentést kapunk, amit a magyar nyelv már egy másik igekötővel fejez ki: BEÖLTÖZNI VMINEK/VKINEK
▶️ My Japanese boss dressed up AS Elvis for the fancy dress party. / A japán főnököm Elvisnek öltözött be a jelmezes buliban.
▶️ The kids dressed up as zombies on Halloween. / A kissrácok zombijelmezbe bújtak Halloweenkor.
Mára ennyi. Holnap reggel újból jelentkezem a nap szavával. Legyen szép napod! ☀️

I asked my daughter to be my assistant for the book's display. She was obviously not eager to do so but later as you will see she exploded behind the book😎

Good morning and welcome to my virtual classroom ✨ ✨✨✨✨✨
I’m in between teaching classes this morning and had a sec, so here are the details as promised!
Yes, this is real. No it’s not a type of pyramid scheme or anything like that. I never had the intention of trying to recruit, I just like to post on Instagram and got a huge response about what I do, so here are the answers!
What is teaching English online?
VIP Kid is a fun, modern way to teach children in China English! It’s interactive and relies heavily on personality 😊, TPR 👋🏼and props 🐼! The lesson plans are pre-made and you just come ready to teach that 25 minute lesson!
What are the qualifications?
1. Be a resident of the U.S. or Canada
2. Any formal or informal teaching experience children
3. Have a bachelors degree in any field of study
4. Have a working computer with high speed internet
How do I apply?
Follow this link to apply:
My referral code is: 0ABTSO
The application process is not like your typical interviews, so if you decide to apply we can go over that later! 🙉
What is the pay?
Base pay is $7-9 pay per 25 minute class. Not including the $1 bonus added on to every class if you are in your first class of the day 8-10 minutes early. If you teach 45 classes or more per month you get another $1 per class. Which brings us to an hourly pay between $14-22 hr! 🤗 In additional to that, for every late notice class scheduled (within 24 hours of the class) it’s an additional $2 and an additional $5 for new student trial sign ups! +more incentives!
That is a lot of information in one post so I’ll stop here! BUT this job is so easy, so much fun and is great for extra supplemental income! I open up my schedule whenever I want to work and I get my classes finished before anyone is even up Arizona time and still have the rest of my day to do whatever I want☀️
