You wanna know what’s super important?
, that’s what. And let me tell you a little bit about some kindness we received recently, by a #TenClub
Member, of course, because #PearlJam
fans are literally the best.
So the two guys you see with my husband and I are Justin and Jack - PJ fans, Ten Club members, and all around good dudes. They were standing near us during the first of the #pearljamhomeshows
in Seattle, and both made positive comments about Kyler being there. Fast forward a few days to Missoula, about an hour before the show starts, and I recognize them in the crowd...so we strike up a conversation - about kids, how many @pearljam
shows we’ve each been to (Justin has FIFTY under his belt!), sports, and life in general.
We find out that Justin heard about some fellow PJ fans that were stranded at a bus station in another city he would be passing by on his way (Spokane, I think), so he stopped to pick them up and gave them a ride to Missoula.
But wait! It gets better (for us, at least). Pearl Jam often offers kids’ stuff as part of their merchandise, and we bought the Seattle shirt for Malin, and onesie for Kyler when we were there. We planned to get them the Missoula merch as well, but they were sold out when we stood in the ridiculously long line, which came up in our conversation with Justin and Jack.
Part way through the show, Justin leaves to get beer, and comes back with a onesie for Kyler! He noticed they were back in stock, was thoughtful enough to grab one for us, and then wouldn’t even let us pay him. He drove us back to our hotel too.
Shortly after giving us the onesie, we all got to hear the super rare “Fatal,” which was high on Justin’s bucket list, so I’m pretty sure God was smiling on him for being so awesome. He’s still got a lot of #karma
coming his way, I’m sure.
Oh, and look how happy K is in her sweet PJ onesie. Kindness just makes everyone happy ❤️ #eatlaughlovesweat #justbreathe #kindness
