Welcome to the family little girl! I hope you like hiking through forgotten forests and hidden waterfalls!
i love exploring the swamps of florida
Enjoyed my quick trip up to Banff for the first time. It was so cold and humid (-5) my beard 🧔🏼 was completely frozen, like straight up icicles hanging from my face haha! 🥶 If you go up this time of year be sure to dress warm!
Vibrant reds and oranges, wind blown sand, just a touch of snow, and lines for days… The southwest is incredible for abstract shots like these and were among what I enjoyed photographing the most while I was there. This particular shot was taken in the Coyote Buttes area, tucked in a small corridor where the harsh mid-day sun was reflecting off nearby sandstone walls to provide a beautiful indirect glow.

When I had nothing to lose, I had everything.
I find wildlife portraits to be very powerful. While I love photos of animals at a distance accompanying an amazing landscape, it can subconsciously make us see the animal as an object or a minor compliment to the composition as a whole. Some of my favorite images are shot like this, but seeing a closeup of an animal allows us to connect with the photo in a different way. It gives us a detailed look at their expressions and can provide a feeling of relatability. I’ve always loved animals, but it wasn’t until I seriously started pursuing photography that my appreciation for them really grew. The reason I edit my wildlife images like I do (bold and dramatic) is because I want you all to feel the same impact that I felt when taking the photo. My hope is that these images can personify animals in a way that encourages us to see them as more than an object on our screens.
Like an old school smiley... you gotta tilt your head 😜

I've been to so many waterfalls and so far I haven't found any with caves behind them that have secret treasure. I feel lied to by video games.
Happy Friday! Here's a favorite photo of mine from our time in the Swiss Alps. It's cold and misty where I am, cold enough to daydream on these beautiful summer days. When you step out to do something new, rather do it with fear, than not doing it at all. When you have a "full-body-yes-moment", where everything in you is at peace that you are doing the right thing, move forward with boldness. The fear is the ruthless trust that you don't know the outcome. Heck you don't even know how things will play out next week. But today, you move forward cause today is all you can control. I'm reminded of this every day! Be at peace in the moment.
