A little something about today’s Hawaiian shirt shipment: 📦
In today’s society, a girl can be just about anything she wants to be. I’m sure, growing up, people saw something in Lauren Byrd’s eye that was different from other girls. I don’t know her, but I’m betting she has a quality about her that sets her apart. To even be considered for the military, you have to have what it takes. You’ve got to be strong, level headed, smart. You need to have the resolve to keep going, when every muscle in your body is screaming for you to stop. When chaos surrounds you, you must be the one to rise up, with unwavering focus, and be willing and able, to face your enemy, with complete confidence, that you will prevail.
She does that. Without a doubt, I’m sure Lauren knew what she was made of, and I’m betting that she knew she would become a soldier. She’s overseas right now, doing everything that she swore an oath to do. She’s currently protecting our freedoms. CPT Lauren Byrd is a leader.
I’d love to shake her hand, and tell her how proud I am of her. Because we’re not able to do that right now, we’re going to do something else. Today, we’re sending out 10 boxes to her troop; a Hawaiian shirt thank you party. Her shipment will include 120 Hawaiians shirts, and 2 boxes of snacks and fun extras. We have joined together, to lift up Lauren and her troop. A soldier from the “180” nominated her. They are on the same post. That’s why we’ve worked overtime, to get this shipment ready. It’s time for 120 more soldiers in this camp, to step forward and receive their Hawaiian shirts, as a gift for all that they do!
This never gets old! Thanking our deployed ones overseas, is an honor for us all. The heroes of America have a cheering section; and we’re it! Thank you for helping me send a Hawaiian shirt party, to the girl who grew up to become a military leader.
CPT Lauren Byrd, it is our esteemed pleasure to present to you and your troop, a gift of gratitude, in recognition of what you’re currently doing for us! Stay safe, and God bless!#togetherwearemighty #hawaiianshirtsforsoldiers #thankasoldier #pray #thankyouforyourservice
