Foggy mornings are the best kind of mornings to wake up to!
Just a little hump day cuteness! Say hello to Blue (and check out stories for her twin sister Bonnie)!
Since my last post we’ve moved to a Norfolk village, the kids have started a new school (so proud of them) and we’ve literally gone back to the 90s where the new neighbours pop cards through with their landline number on!! I never even used to know my old home phone number.... now it seems to be the best way of communication as the mobile coverage is terrible!! So I’ve kind of had a forced technology detox - as have the kids... and it definitely has been no bad thing, I could almost say that I would be happy to carry on without it (but my hubby might leave me... he’s struggling with our leap back in time - mainly because he needs to work 😂) Having no phone / internet has made me realise how much we rely on it for everything... communication / shopping / banking / working / music / parenting 🙈 I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, I’ve just been amazed at how important it is in our daily routine, without me even realising it!!
Anyway, I’ve found a little spot on a window ledge that I can get enough signal to post this... so you may see a bit more from me!! I can’t download any of my photos from iCloud onto my new phone - obvs 🙄, but here is a rather lovely one by the gorgeous @madebymowie
Nothing special about this pic other than this was the start of our two-day adventure (nearly five days total counting traveling here) to get some antiques my grandparents gave me through five states and back to my house. I am so sore and exhausted, and we still have three or four hours to go. 😫😫 Oh, and did I mention two moving trucks cancelled on us last-minute, so we had to travel to “BFE”, Alabama, yesterday just to pick up a truck? Like I wanted to drive any extra! #antiquesroadshow #thatcountrylife #countrymousecitymouse #whatwerewethinking #thanksgivinghorrorstory
A person’s most useful asset is not a head full of knowledge, but a heart full of love, an ear ready to listen, and a hand willing to help others.
This here, is near and dear to my heart. You may know that I was raised in the small predominantly Ag town of San Joaquin, CA. I always wanted to one day make some kind of an impact or have some influence on my local community. MY because most of my family and some of my friends still live there. I’m proud of who I am and where I came from. San Joa, that’s right. What a blessing that I get to work closely with the local people of my community. People/families who have watched me grow and now heavily support me and my business. The sellers here were one of them. 💗I had the honor to represent both the seller and buyers throughout this process. Both were such a pleasure to work with. While I have sold many homes in my hometown, I had mostly represented buyers. This one, was my first listing though. My heart is full.♥️ Mind blown. 🤯 I love working with people. I love helping. I never saw this! But I so love what I see now. Thank you to both my sellers and buyers for the trust and support. I feel immensely happy to have been a part of this. THANK YOU! No words to quite really express how I feel or the amount of gratitude I have for you. I will savor this moment and keep it close to my heart. You made this little girl happy!

“All good things are wild and free”
Spending a weekend away in the mountains, in the snow was amazing! I swear the older I get the better it sounds to sell it all, pack us all up and live with the wild things!
The signal was too weak out in the village for Instagram to work. Left the village this morning and three hours later I’m in a small town at a friend’s house - with internet!! So here’s a pic of our closest neighbor in the village, heading out in search of better pasture for his herd. #thatcountrylife #unreachedpeoples #westafrica #ywam #missions #goodfather
No filter needed for this beautiful day. After picking up Kal from school, and taking the long way home, we stopped at TLC Farm. Every year we pick pumpkins from there and tag our tree! This year with little Elena being here, we got a little behind on our family outings together. So we stopped by admired the view and just sat in the field for a bit. Sometimes it’s just the little things that make you appreciate all the amazing things you already have in your life. I struggle everyday with inner battles about what I need to do, and about what I want in life. But all I really need is right here! 💕
