What to look for in a wedding photographer: Good listener – you have wedding dreams and your photographer should listen to them so that they are documents and remembered forever! You’re photographer should be there for YOU. Not the other way around.
As we’re editing our latest wedding film of @shanderson2018
wedding, we can’t help but remember how absolutely beautiful the day was on their wedding. No, we’re not talking about the photo pictured above. The picture above was taken the DAY BEFORE their wedding.
On their wedding day, the Pacific Northwest shook with thunder and rain. You can imagine how nervous the bride was, having picked this wedding venue for its beauty and view but then on their wedding day.. BAM, fog and cold came a rolling on in.
But you know what happen next? Right before the bagpipes started, the rain stopped, the thunder went mute and the bride walked down the isle to her beautiful husband. It was one of the most gorgeous looking weddings we’ve captured on film because it looked like we could have been in the hills of Scotland with how beautiful the weather looked (can’t wait to show you the highlight film!).
So don’t you fret about rainy days, because when the fog clears and the thunder stops, they can lead to some truly beautiful memories. 🎥👰🤵

Looking over the highest mountain in the Cascades❄️
can’t think of a better way to spend my weekend than with some architecture kids in the mountains (& in some pretty sweet huts done by @olsonkundig
This looks a lot like Santa’s workshop except it smells like mushrooms and everyone looks like they want to hurt me 🎅🏻🎄🎁 ✉️
I’ve had so many opportunities for growth recently, I can’t wait to share more. Here’s the lovely @taylordawnshelton
from the @portmeetor
thanks for hosting such an awesome event.
Can’t believe I’m almost done with client work for the year!! I’m sure a lot have noticed that I’m slowly trying to combine this account with both client and personal work. I think it’s important for clients to see who I am personally just as much as professionally. On that note enjoy this double exposure that didn’t quite turn out how I had pictured but I kind of love it 😍
Getting back on a mostly plant based diet. Local farmers market is great! Even making my own dressing and (pizza) sauces. 🌿🍅🥦🍎 #supportlocal #plantbaseddiet
Ft. Gritty, scrambled cheesy bitch.
Met several awesome new families this weekend and, per usual, they were all referrals from my amazing regulars ❤️ You know how to make a girl feel special!
I was watching a natgeo special on Komodo Dragons last night and it got me thinking about that one time I almost walked right over one back in Indonesia 😂
The crew and I were heading back to the boat after a long day shooting the Komodo Islands. We were unknowingly walking and talking straight into a sunbathing Dragon. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Luckily we noticed it! But not until we were within 10 feet of it! Definitely an eye opener 😂
PS. The sunset photo was our sunset view from the far bottom right of the drone shot! (and yes it really was that colour! Indonesian sunsets don’t mess around!)
3 AM wake up calls are rough, but sunrises like this are always worth it. 😍 Our Columbia River Gorge + Portland day trip this weekend was an absolute blast—shoutout to Mother Nature for another amazing sunny weekend! 🙌🏼☀️ Stay tuned for a vlog in a couple days where we will share all of the fun things we were up to in Oregon, which words Adam really struggles to pronounce, and more cute clips of the real star of the show, Kona.
exploring the pink granite coast with @rmnbrht

Me suelo enamorar mas de un suspenso que se acepta
the reflection of mount baker on baker lake this weekend was breathtaking - happy monday and bonus it’s only a 3 day work week!
Using a small aperture on my Canon (f/22) I was able to capture this sweet sunburst as sunlight broke through the dense forest near Indian Sands trailhead. Swipe right to see the full panorama! :)
This weekend's #hiking
.. Rattlesnake ledge, North Bend, Washington. This was my 2nd time doing this hike but I still get #mesmerized
by the views it has to offer. Green, fall colors, lakes, mountains, sun and the moon (literally, u can see all this in the pic!) all at once. These views come with quite a bit of hardwork - 7 miles roundtrip since I went all the way to upper ledge, 1200 ft climb equivalent to 124 floors! Enjoyed the cup of tea up top. @washingtonexplored @destination.pnw

It’s my favorite time of the year🎅🏼 Well, we gotta get through Thanksgiving first lol

Home for a few hours and already missing these views 🌵
