It’s been six years since I trekked across Key West in the blazing August sun. Not my brightest move to-date 😂☀️ But the end of the journey was a place with this whimsical nautical decor and a few much needed icy cold drinks!
This time with yellow and green.

✈️ over Washington’s Cascade Range. This state has my heart, until next time 👋🏽
Everything is stressful right now. Going to Okla-HOME-uh this weekend and I might not come back 🤷♀️
I’m sitting here at the airport having just boarded and unexpectedly deboarded our plane (flat tire??) and scrolling through Instagram. ✈️ I found this lovely gal who recently completed a project about anxiety. From what I gather, she had followers submit quotes and she made these awesome posts. 🖊 This one struck me because it’s something I keep telling people. 👉“Don’t be afraid to get help.” I have had anxiety (and depression) for as long as I can remember. I used to just think I could fix it myself. That if I just tried hard enough I could change myself. I just needed to be stronger. 🤦♀️ Finally after 30 years of suffering, I decided to get help. And really try this time (I had seen various therapists over the years but would quickly give up after a couple of sessions). It’s the best decision I’ve ever made. I kept thinking I wonder how different our honeymoon would have been if I hadn’t started counseling and medication. Probably a little more stressful. Anyways, follow @anxiety_piglet
and check out all of her posts about anxiety. Maybe you can relate and not feel so alone OR you can begin to understand what it’s like to live with an #anxietydisorder

Off the boat and into the ocean... it finally feels like summer after living in air conditioning for two months and avoiding the outdoors.
