WARNING DON’T READ THIS IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE FILM YET🤫
Kim Possible (2019) Review:
On a scale of 1-10 I give this film a 6
Pros: -Nice use of nostalgia from the og series
-Showing a more Vulnerable side to Kim cuz even though she’s a bad-ass she’s still a teenager with struggles and this film proves that.
-good performances of Kim, ron, wade, shego, drakken, Kim’s family, & Professor dementor
-Strong Story plot
-LUV seeing the og voice actors appear in film like Christy Carlson Romano, Patton Oswald, & Nancy Cartwright
-chemistry between Ron & Kim were flawless
- excellent use of a plot twist
Cons: -actors that played Bonnie & Mr. Barkin; as good as they are the actors don’t match well with their cartoon counterparts physically
-Using a pendant rather than the kimmunicator?!?! HECK NO!!
-the outside appearance of bueno nacho was incredibly poor whereas the inside of the building was better
-Ron & Rufus meeting (in the show they first met at smarty mart)
-Kim NOT a cheerleader?!?!
-some of the stunts were unnecessary
-Kim’s Mother a blackbelt? She’s already a brain surgeon she doesn’t need anything extra
- the boo yahs were too forced
- Instead of drakken being completely blue they used blue veins.
Overall: While this film presents itself as more of a tribute than a reboot (despite its differences) it was well done in all of the creative teams part, but for someone who’s watched the cartoon series since it’s first episode all the way to the end they should’ve left it as it was.
Btw it’s okay to dislike something but don’t go overboard on the hate train cuz these actors (including the younger ones) have real feelings so be critical but not mean🤗

I read them a while back and totally loved them. They're actually fantastic! It only took me about a week to read the whole trilogy because they're impossible to put down! ❤
You should check them out! x
QOTD: What was the last trilogy you read all the way through? 🤷♂️😊
