I could make excuses. I’ve done it plenty of times before.
The best one is “I am so busy. I don’t have the time to exercise.” I know busy. I’ve always been busy. I strive for busy.
It’s not a reason to skip taking care of yourself. I have more time BECAUSE I exercise daily. I have more energy and I’m more productive because I take 20-30 minutes to invest in my fitness.

There was a time in my life when this very thought annoyed me. How could this be true when so many people around me had a negative influence on my day to day?
I thought this idea was crap... just a bunch of fluff that seemingly positive people would say. ...and then I decided to own my life. I decided that I was going to believe the hype and quit wasting my time depending on other people for happiness. I was going to stop waiting for opportunities for growth and I was going to go out and seek them.
Guess what? I totally believe that I am responsible for who I become and how happy I am. It feels good to hold the power ✊
So, let me ask you... What is holding you back from the person you want to be? Is it you?

You have a choice in this moment... hit the snooze until the last possible moment OR get up and invest in yourself.
I’ve been that snooze button girl for a LOOOOOOOOOOOONNG time! I would YouTube search things like “4 minute makeup routines” and “how to quickly style dirty hair.” And its a good thing I took the Summer off, because I had an extensive tardy problem at the hospital 🤦🏽♀️ But things are changing. My new habits are giving me more energy. My love for what I do is getting me out of bed in the morning. My commitment to setting a good example for all of you is daily motivation.
My goal is to show you all that there is a better way. You don’t have to drag yourself though life dreading Mondays. Don’t accept that crummy and unsatisfied is the “normal” way of life!

It’s been 11 days that I have been off of work and such a blessing I get to be here for all of these little moments!
They probably existed in my presence before but I was too tired, too busy, or just too blind to notice them as much.
Sometimes I feel guilt because I’m not one of those people who are constantly saying “my children are my life!” There is much more to me that just being a mom, but this is definitely my most important role.
I’m not perfect, and I don’t even strive to be. I just want to be here and show them love. I want to be here for each of these little moments and for every time they need guidance to navigate through this life.
For right now, it’s just the summer, but now that I’ve got a taste of being home with my babies, I’m going to work even harder to making coaching my permanent full-time gig.
My hope is that other Mamas don’t settle for the type of thinking that makes them believe that they are stuck, that they don’t have a choice but to miss out. Your dreams can be a reality with a little work and belief in yourself.
Believe me... it’s worth it!
Who drinks Matcha? How do you like it?
If you know me, you know that I love to use nature and food as my medicine as much as possible.
I consume everything from algae, to exotic mushrooms, to elderberry syrup on a regular basis.
I have heard about Matcha, but I had never tried it out until yesterday when my Physical Therapist recommended it.
Today was my second day of enjoying a Matcha latte. I used almond milk to keep it dairy free and I did not use any sweetener.
It’s actually been a great treat!
So why should you drink this green stuff? Well, it’s green! And usually green equals good for you!
It’s also has a ton of great benefits! Matcha is a powerful antioxidant. It is a natural detoxifier. It also helps to improve energy and increase metabolism, aid in weight loss, enhance your mood, and help with concentration! Need to lower your blood pressure or cholesterol? Matcha can help with that too!
I could go on and on about the benefits of this super food. It is also one of the ingredients in my superfood shake!
