Always found it tough to connect with my back movements!
Controlling the weight as with any movement is a major key for me for feeing the muscle lengthen and shorten! Again load is irrelevant without placing! •
Rack pulling and deadlifting once a week has caused the the lower back and overall back development to inscrease dramatically.
As with any muscle group, in my eyes anyway, the way to grow them is to get strong at the HARD compound movements, so for example if you want to get bigger legs, get VERY strong efficient at a squatting free weight movement and if all other factors are kept in check then you don’t really leave much else but for your legs to grow! Obviously making sure to progress this each week and train to failure...or at least VERY close!
