Thankful for Mushroom Ravioli🙌
Weirdly have gotten into mushrooms lately despite my absolute hatred for them as a child.
I got this yummy dinner with Natalie in the North End at Bacco! I had a porcini mushroom ravioli in a cream sauce with pancetta. Natalie ordered a delish lasagna!
I loved the ravioli here because of its thicc pasta noodle and the perfect amount of al dente to it. The mushrooms were perfectly balanced in the cream sauce😍😍

First up: Shakshuka🍳
Shakshuka is traditionally made with a spiced tomato sauce and eggs baked in the pan, sometimes served with a farmer’s cheese like feta or even halloumi!
This Shakshuka is from the Outlook at the Envoy Hotel in the Seaport. I had never had shakshuka before coming to college but now i’m IN LOVE with it!
The Shakshuka from Outlook was made with a tomato sauce with a kick, feta cheese, and baked eggs in a skillet. It was served with buttered & toasted challah bread😋😋
I really enjoyed the Shakshuka from The Outlook- while the dish looks small, it is super filling and packed with flavor.
