This photo was taken on a beautiful day in California when my husband and I wanted to ride bikes for fun around Napa Valley. Can you remember the last time you rode your bike for fun? Or when you did something active for fun and not to burn calories or achieve a certain fitness standard? I can imagine it. Let me #support you in that #goal . #jennywegnertherapy#therapist#therapy#recovery#denvercolorado

❀ Trust in Tomorrow ❀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Think of the miracle of a single seed, which holds the wisdom within it to become a beautiful blossom or a magnificent tree. If you were to plant a seed, then keep digging it up and disturbing it, it would never reach its full potential. Treat yourself like a precious seed. Know that if simply given time, trust, and a few nourishing essentials, you will flourish beautifully.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
△ Don't Fall Prey to Comparison △⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A giraffe does not look at a pride of lions and wish it could hunt like them. It does not look at a zebra and envy its stripes. Instead, it wisely uses it spots as camouflage in the sun dappled spaces under trees, and stretches out its long neck to reach the sweetest tasting leaves. Honor your strengths, know who you are, and embrace your unique brand of beauty.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
≈ There Is Peace Deep Within ≈⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Consider a lake during a thunderstorm: On the surface, things look chaotic. But if you only dive deeper, you'll find calm, quiet, and a world of life, thriving. If things seem unmanageable on the surface of your life, go within and find peace.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There is no better day than today to give thanks for all nature teaches us and provides for us, and to ask what we can in turn do for her. Happiest of Earth Day's to you, wherever you may be on this beautiful planet. 🌎✨⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"The earth is our mother. All life arises from her and is nourished by her. Each of us is a child of the earth and at some time, the Earth will take us back to her again."—#ThichNhatHanh ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Excited to be making decisions to continue to build my brand and help the community. It can be scary but it can have good outcomes. Soo today I took a leap even though it made me uncomfortable...what did you do today that made you uneasy but you know it’ll be worth it?! #challenge#timetogrow
M O V E M E N T | Walking.🚶🏽♀️It’s a favorite activity of mine and something I do for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes, I move it because it’s stiff, or because my mind wants my mind/body synchronized or the other way around, sometimes it’s to relieve stress or a worry; other times it’s to change a mood, balance out my blood sugar (story for another day), “get my exercise in,” reduce pain, boost my energy, or get my mind going. Sometimes, I do it just because I know I am able and walking is my reverence of it.
The best thing about it: it’s free. No need to buy anything to keep the body vital, healthy and strong. 💪🏽
I also love walking with friends! If you’re in the East Bay, let’s plan a walk together! #liveyourwell

Do not make the mistake of thinking that attractiveness has anything to do with self-esteem. Our attitude towards ourselves determine our self worth more than any physical features can.
I love thanking Molly for all the hapiness she brings to me by giving her massage treatments every month😴
She works very hard, especially during summer time, so giving her a massage is my way to reward her, thank her and give her body a rest 💗
Go ahead and book that deep tissue or hot stone massage, Indulging in a massage at the end of a tough week isn’t just a nice way to wind down—it’s also been shown to improve sleep, according to numerous studies. 😍🙏🏼
Surprising? Maybe not, considering that baby massage is one of the first techniques used to help infants sleep 👶🏻 But what you may be amazed by is just how beneficial a little massage and relaxation on the table can be for your sleep 💤
It Helps You Relax.... 💆🏼♀️ 💆🏽♂️ If you’re kept up at night worrying about financial problems, work problems, a rocky relationship, or other stressful issues, a massage may be the key to sounder sleep. Regular massage sessions have been found to decrease depression and anxiety levels and improve sleep quality, perhaps because they trigger the release of serotonin, a neurotransmitter that can help you feel calm 🤤
It Decreases Pain....
Not only can a body rub bring stress levels down, but it may also help ease pain. In fact, a study has shown that people with low back pain who had 30-minute massage sessions twice a week for five weeks reported a decrease in pain and fewer sleep disturbances. This may be due to the fact that massage encourages more time spent in the deep, restorative stages of sleep, where your body hardly moves. Who doesn’t want a deep sleep 😴🛏 .

Let’s talk life transitions 🙃
Do you ever find yourself wishing you were back in college (or graduate school) after you spent those college years just counting down until you were done? Or am I just crazy?
The post college, early/middle 20s time is so odd. Like, I am an adult with a real job but also, can my mom still do my laundry & do I have to wake up this early?
Although I am very settled in my career currently & am still studying and learning while I prepare for the national exam, I find myself missing those grad school days where I was absorbing information and learning a lot, at a very rapid pace. College is such a unique experience & sometimes I find myself missing the late nights of paper writing and the copious amounts of coffee drinking with friends who are also grinding away with me.
What I’ve learned about myself through this process is that I absolutely love learning. I love transitions, I love change and I love being pushed. I find I get restless when I’ve been settled for too long & when I don’t have a goal in sight. I’ve found that I do better when I’m pushed by external forces & struggle with self discipline and motivation but then when I do set my mind on something, I can and will achieve it.
I am using this next phase in my life to just spend the days growing. Being present, surrounding myself with people, music, journaling, nature & national exam prep work materials. I am challenging myself to do something daily that challenges me & im going to take advantage of this post college, no kids free time & just run with it!

Pushing kids outside of their comfort zones builds their independence and allows them to take risks. Sometimes this takes you out of YOUR comfort zone too! Watching my little girl whip around these ramps on her scooter was pretty nerve wracking but she had so much fun and she challenged herself over and over again! 🛴 Why is there no skateboard emoji? 🤷🏻♀️ #kidsatplay#comfortzone#skatepark
This was another YA book (one of my favorite genres) and it was hard for me to get into. I loved the idea of a journal-style poetic book but the poetry itself felt a little clumsy, awkward, and the choice of capitalizing the first word of every line was exhausting. I did love the diverse array of characters that actually got some time to flesh out and make unique (voices on gayness, grief, being fat, and chronic illness / disability). Overall, I’m so glad that more books exist foregrounding this experience, there were some poetic lines and lines that made me laugh, but I wouldn’t reread this one. .

"There should be sufficient time to perceive, and organize oneself.
No one can learn when hurried and hustled."
Learning to move better takes time. We have to slow down the movie so the brain can notice, observe and see.🔛🔝
Awareness matters. 😎💯
