I’ve been so busy with my normal job and being a semi-pro basketball player that I haven’t been to my shop for over a month :( It was nice to get a few hours to myself to be the creative person I enjoy being and work through some thoughts weighing on my mind lately. Hopefully soon I can get to the finishing touches on this couch so I can move on to the next project! #woodworking #theropy
Monday Funday! Question; Who would like jewellery courses? I’ve been thinking about getting these going again for a while and have now found two places to run them, yay! I want to teach beginner workshops of 3hours, one day workshops-a bit more in-depth and then 2day workshops for those who would like to learn more.
I would really appreciate any comments if your interested & if so what you’d like to learn? I have put down a long list of things I’d like to teach but want to get an idea of what you all might like to learn. .

I was glad to be a part of Reema’s baby shower, meeting all the lovely ladies. She likes her nails done with natural henna. It’s amazing to see change in pattern as the nail grow, best part of nail henna is that it doesn’t fades. #naturalhennanails #edmontonnails #edmontonhenna
Lost a bet to the boss so had to knock out 100 burpees 🤮 added in some of my favs after I completed the 100 burpees! See if you can catch the knee crack 🤣
End of summer white and gold party.
Life is about compromise. Work hard and play hard. You don't have to give up everything you love to get where you want to get.
I'm by no means at the level of some bodybuilders you see on here but I will never use steroids so will never be that standard. (Not hating on steroid users, it's just not for me)
I'm happy with where I have got and (apart from the one competition I have done) I have never given up the foods I enjoy, never given up drinking alcohol, love to go away on holiday and enjoy time off training. I have just consistently trained for the past 14 years but never stopped what I enjoy to do. It doesn't have to be all or nothing.
People are shocked when they see things like a take away, or alcohol in a diet plan I give them..... Well I'd be more shocked if they can just completely stop what they love and that diet last longer then a couple of weeks.
You need a realistic approach to diet and training. By all means contact me for advice or a PT session.
Thank you for all ❤️. I share this raw side of me not just for me, but for anyone who has something going on behind closed doors while doing life, raising kids & going to work.
I am eternally grateful to have amazing humans in my life who support me and a great Therapist😜, but not everyone has #tribe
OR just does not feel they can share themselves without being judged. Hey, some of you can think that about me, but that’s okay. I’m owning it and growing into a better me.
We all have different seasons. At this moment I’m dealing with past emotions that need their voice ... It’s just fascinating how the mind & body works 🤪🤪 Remembering that no one is perfect. We all have a past that has formed us, but we #humas
have this amazing gift to be able to grow and evolve if we are true to ourselves and share our #truth #thankyou #personaljourney
The most underrated and personally the most important benefit from physical activity I believe is MENTAL HEALTH.
In a fickle world we all strive to have, what we believe to be perceived as, "the ideal body." Social media is largely responsible for this by giving us false representations of what is achievable "naturally" and are usually down to the use of unnatural supplements and/or photo editing.
The fitness industry has been tainted into a money making industry, inundated with misrepresented products endorsed by people who didn't get where they are by supplementing 'said' products.
Now although the way we feel is closely related to the way we look, it shouldn't be the driving factor. That being said, starting for the wrong reasons and arriving at a better destination is still desirable.
I've had clients who are seen to have an ideal physique, yet are never happy with the way they look and I have also had clients, with no physical change, combat depression and anxiety and become happy in themselves.
Aside from the health implications that come with excessive body fat and increasing the longevity of life, changing the way you think and becoming happy is most important destination.
