*insert midday yawn and an extra large coffee here* I hope your day is filled with the strongest coffee and the will to kick ass this week☕️✨happy Monday loves💕
Walking into town after swimming yesterday, E and I saw a group of teenagers laughing loudly. I told him that one day, that would be him. In town with his friends, shopping and chatting non-stop.
A few minutes later he said, "When I'm older will you throw me out of the house, and then I'll have to get my own place?" 🤣🤣 That did make me laugh. I told him he probably wouldn't want to live with us anymore when he was older anyway, but he's adamant he does!
Wish I were avocuddling in bed but alas, I have homework due in a few hours 😭🥑
I cannot begin to tell you how thankful I am to have oils as tools for my little one!! There are so many different ways they can support her - sleep, emotions, immune system, skin, if her ears hurt, if she’s not feeling well, the air quality in her room, if she’s stuffed up, and on and on. And I have it all ready to go, in my oils stash. I make the oils stretch & diluted to her needs with rollers. They’re super easy to make & so convenient!
Check our my stories to watch how I apply them on her cute little self!💕
My home town, although I live nearer the coast, it’s a great place to live and I consider myself lucky to live near a great city, the coast and not too far from the countryside.
I’m a mum of three, very nearly 39 🙈 and currently at a bit of a crossroads in my life now that the littlest has started full time school... working it out, one step at a time
..Que la despierten con un beso en las mañanas; Que le regalen una hermosa rosa roja, Ese detalle es él que más la vuelve loca...🥰❤️ #thesimplethings
Slowly putting up the decorations because it’s my favourite time of year and I’m feeling impatient. It’ll be quiet this year and there will be less gifts but hopefully good memories. ✨
This short week is totally messing up my brain and workflow, anyone else?
I’m trying to check off my normal work to-dos, plus all the extras because it’s the holiday season, but the house chores and thanksgiving prep keep lurking around the corner! 😅
Cheers to a crazy busy week!
It has been a bit nuts-o over at our place. Crazy long days at work, re-doing our rec room (painting, carpet cleaning, new furniture, the whole kit and caboodle), taking down fall decorations and putting up all of the Christmas things... it seems like the last two weeks have been a time warp. I’m looking forward to slowing down for Thanksgiving and enjoying this little reindeer with her Dada while her Nana and Opa are in town! ❤️ @cwynhof @jwynhof @opaproud17

You can’t make decisions on fear and the possibility of what might happen🌟
This weekend I was giving Selah the usual pre-church-drop-off pep talk—“Are you excited to see your friends? What toys are you going to play with today?” After a while she interrupted me and said, “I don’t miss Mommy at church.”
It sounds strange to say this warmed my heart, but it did. After three years of Selah screaming and crying through church and daycare drop-offs, of worrying about her after I leave, of her cries lodging themselves into the back of my throat until I’m crying too, it was no small gift.
When we reached her classroom on Saturday night, she hugged me extra tight and I noticed her little lip quivering. Perhaps we’re not all the way there yet. But it means everything to me that her overarching experience and memory of being in her church classroom is, “I can feel happy and safe even when my mom isn’t there.”
Hello! In case we’re meeting for the first time, I’m Alice – a jewellery designer/maker creating delicate nature inspired pieces from my leafy garden studio 🌿⠀
Today is the first day of #justacard
week! I’ll be taking part and showing my support for all the small & mighty businesses out there. Today’s prompt is 10 facts about you, so here they are –⠀
➳ I’m based in Stratford-Upon-Avon (Shakespeare’s home town).⠀
➳ I was lucky enough to come across the silversmithing & jewellery department when soul searching at university. I instantly fell in love with the magic of seeing jewellery I had created come to life in small pieces of wearable art.⠀
➳ I’m a vegetarian - and have been since around the age of 9. ⠀
➳ I was born on a leap year – so I’m actually only 7 ½ 🌠!⠀
➳ In my yearbook when leaving school, it was thought I was destined to be a tree hugger – my love of trees is still going very strong 🌳.⠀
➳ On a personal and business level being environmentally responsible is very important – this is why all Alice Stewart Jewellery parcels now go out in fully recyclable packaging. ⠀
➳ I’m a romantic at heart ❤️ It’s so rewarding knowing my pieces are quite often given from the heart and become precious for personal & sentimental reasons too!⠀
➳ I have two lovable house rabbits - Biscuit & Coco, usually found at my feet, begging for treats. ⠀
➳ I love yoga and have made a promise to myself that I will do it more often.⠀
➳ I’m supporting independent business this Christmas as well as going plastic free, homemade & handmade gifts all round ✨ ⠀
Now it’s your turn – tell me something I might not know about you! ⠀
It’s nice to have one on one time with Casper now that Luna is at school. He insisted on climbing on this sculpture.
Ok ok ok, GUYS I’m freaking out over this one (sorry I say that all the time I feel like but actually BAHHH)🌿
This roller is sooo convenient! It makes it so easy to apply Thieves essential oil literally anywhere & at anytime!
Thieves essential oil blend is a powerful combination of Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus Radiata, and Rosemary essential oils that fills any space with a rich, spicy aroma. As one of our most popular products, it’s no wonder that Thieves is included in so many of our home cleaning and personal care products. It is a key ingredient in Thieves® Cleaner, Thieves® Waterless Hand Purifier, Thieves® Wipes, and Thieves® Foaming Hand Soap. Thieves blend is your go-to for an invigoratingly clean and spicy scent that smells more like fall baking than harsh cleaning formulas.
My favorite place to roll it is on the bottom of my big toe (weird, right?! But it gets into your bloodstream fast there, fun fact) & right on my wrists!
Comment below if you think Thieves smells like Christmas🎄
