[ Day 12 ] SUMMIT
That instant. When you reach your destination. When you're out of breath, when you lungs and heart finally start calming down. When you need 10 sec to actually realize what you've just done. And finally enjoy the view that surrounds you to be one with this moment.
Shot taken on top of the Pinnacles Track up the Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand.
Camera : Fujifilm XT20 / Fujinon 16-55mm & 50-230mm
Yesterday I turned 21, and while in the grand scheme of things that is very young, I do feel that I’m getting to that point where life seems to fly by in a blink of the eye. In less than a year I will be done with college and out in the real world. I can’t begin to explain how excited I am to start living out my dreams but at the same time wish I could go back to being 7 years old and worrying about which friend I’m going to play with. Regardless, I’m excited for the future and what it brings. Here’s to 21 🙏🏼
Also I know I posted this photo before but thought it deserved it’s own spot in color 🤷🏻♂️
So since I've started my photography journey I've only ever posted two photos (including this one) of myself mostly because I have hated my picture being taken for years, ever since I was little. And this whole time it was due to a bad history of self esteem, confidence, and courage issues caused by being bullied when I was younger. This year I've decided I'm not going to have any of that hold me back so here is my face, you might see it alot more often now, hope you like! 😁😂
