When I decided in January to make a change, it wasn’t because I didn’t like or love myself. It was because I DESERVE THE BEST!
I deserve my best self, my husband deserves my best self, my boys deserve my best self.
I decided that nothing was going to stop me - not fear, anxiety, doubt - and trust me, in the beginning of my adventure those emotions were there!!! I have a great group of ladies that I work with. We help each other with much more than health and fitness.

“I just don’t have the time to work out!” 😳
Did you know there is a health guideline that adults should exercise moderately for AT LEAST 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week? And y’all.. this isn’t a number that someone picked out of their ass. There is specific research that shows if you do this in addition to eating healthy foods, you can reduce/reverse your risk of living with chronic disease greatly, which accounts for 70% of deaths in the US every year!! 😳
But, look, I get it... life is crazy busy, you are working mad hours, you commute, you have kids and their activity schedules, and you’re exhausted. So, working out takes a backseat. .
But, y’all, push yourself to make your health a little bit more important. Trust me, none of those things will exist if you don’t have your health. So, make this a priority and find a program/schedule that works with your life!!
Can’t get 30 minutes of moderate exercise in 5 days a week? No problem!! Increase the intensity each day and do a little less!! .
This morning, I previewed my newest program that is only 20 minutes a day and wow, was it awesome!! I mean, who can’t do 20 minutes a day????? I even did it while my girls ate breakfast so I know you can fit it in too!! This program doesn’t come out until January, but if you’d like to try it out and see if you want to give it a go with us, give me a shout and I’ll hook you up!!

had us look in the mirror and stare deep into our soul, and tell ourself the words we know we need to hear. Some things I shared with myself were, “You are enough” “You’re a beautiful soul and person on the inside and outside”, “You have a beautiful smile”, “You’re stronger then you think and braver then you know”. I’ve grown so much in my thirties. I’ve just finished my second masters degree. I’ve grown as a professional in the classroom and in the school. I got married and grew as a wife in my relationship. Ive grown as a daughter to help support my parents emotionally when they lost loved ones. I grown personally from being a fitness coach from personal development, being a leader, and being part of a tribe. Yes, my thirties have been full of wisdom and understanding myself more then I know. I look forward to the second half of my thirties.

The word that comes to mind is yo yo. My weight has gone up and down since I was old enough to know what "blubber" meant. I use that word, blubber, purposefully because someone in fifth grade used that word in reference to my body. I still remember it.
I do not remember every president in the history of America, which I actually had to study in fifth grade. But I do remember the word, the girl, the moment, and that awful feeling.
Girls can be MEAN, y'all.
That was a long time ago, though. I'm a grown woman now, trying to raise my daughter to have a strong sense of self worth and healthy body image. So ... the challenge is to embrace who I am for now while I'm working to always be a stronger, healthier me.
Anyone else struggle with this? Loving yourself while trying to change? Let me know, guys! There are too many of us dealing with the same issues, staying quiet about it. Why not help each other out, lift each other up?

Cranberry, pear, and walnut stuffed turkey with a side of vegan cauliflower rice stuffing! .
Anyone else grow up on comfort food 🥘❤️ I love to recreate those meals into healthier versions. Here’s how I made this one.
Cauliflower Rice Stuffing Recipe.
•3 small carrots chopped •1/2 small onion finely chopped •2 10 oz bags of frozen cauliflower rice •1/2 cup fresh or dried cranberries • 1 cup roasted butternut squash cubed •1 tsp dried tarragon •Dash of garlic powder, onion powder, & s/p
•1 tablespoon raw pumpkin seeds
For the turkey breast stuffing.
•1 pear chopped •1/2 cup fresh cranberries •1/4 raw walnuts •1/4 apple rose wine- cook down in a pan.

Sometimes being a work-from-home momma is the best thing ever. Sometimes it's really, really tough!! 😁🤪😵
I often struggle with "balance"... that I'm putting too much time into work and not enough into the kids and home. Or that I'm focusing so much on the kids and home that I'm not performing as well with my work or studies.
What's helped lately is adjusting my morning routine. I wake up before the kids, do my personal growth and gratitude journaling to get my mindset right, crush my workout, and if I can, squeeze in a little work time. Some mornings, this goes flawlessly... other mornings, kids are up before dawn and it doesn't all go to plan. Like this morning!!
But I'll definitely take some morning snuggles while I work and gladly wear these multiple hats because they all keep my heart full and happy!! 😍💗 I may not be great at "balance", but I can still be a great mom, great student, and a great business owner.

This is THIRTY SOMETHING 🎈. Often, my birthday brings up all sorts of emotions about how life should have gone or how it should be going. I had a neat, idealized picture of what life should be. But life rarely turns out the way we expect. We make mistakes that we wish we could go back and fix. Other people make mistakes that, in turn, change our lives forever. We get wrecked by hard things that derail life’s plan and cause grief—sickness, broken relationships, death of a loved one, suffering of a child, disillusionment, betrayal, unemployment, etc.
When this happens, we usually do one of two things: loose faith, decide everything is permissible, and go our own way OR hold on to faith and trust in a God we may not understand. Unfortunately, I’ve gone both ways in different times in my life. Over the past years, especially during the five-year battle with Lyme Disease and a long-term relationship that ended, I’ve learned about the quiet peace of the latter choice. Through the pain, loss, disillusionment, grief, God is faithful. He’s moving me forward, asking me to follow where he leads.
God sometimes takes us where we would rather not go, but he will always lead us along the best possible path—no matter how painful or confusing it may be. He is tenderly present each step of life’s journey. He shows us the way forward... if we listen. Little by little, he turns the darkness into light.
Whatever season you are in, may you come to know a God who is loving and faithful and always tenderly present. May you hold onto faith and trust he is leading you forward.
