♡ | make sure you aren’t rushed
make sure that you wake up early enough to give yourself enough time to prepare as you don’t nt want to be rushing around and stressing out; plan the night before what you need do in the morning and how much time plus a bit extra that you’ll need to accommodate those plans - set multiple alarms and if possible, get someone to make sure you’re awake at the set time - also try arrive to the exam venue a little early.
♡ | probably don’t study
if you have an exam, it is often best to not study the morning of the exam - some people will disagree and if it works for you than do it - however, often studying the morning of, causes your short term memory to impact your long term memory and it may not be as helpful as you’d think! also not to mention, you don’t want to stress yourself out by reading over things you may not know one hour before the exam.
♡ | eat healthy
make sure that before your exam you eat a healthy and filling breakfast, this is your brainfood for the exam so make it count! make sure you eat enough so that you don’t get hungry during the exam.
♡ | think positive
don’t focus before the exam on things you don’t know - however accept that there may be questions that challenge you but try to focus on the things that you do know - furthermore, surround yourself in the morning with optimistic people; don’t spend time around your parents if they stress you out or maybe don’t go to the exam with a friend if they are stressing and constantly talking negatively about the exam (also be cautious yourself if you are talking negatively before the exam aloud around your peers, it can really impact some people).
