Some of the things I wish i knew, accepted to be true and I could tell myself all free to you guys:
. 💫It doesn’t happen as fast as you’d like...growing muscle means eating more and training hard...dieting is eating less attempting to still train as hard
. 💫However long you think you need to diet probably double it
. 💫You need to be persistent, consistent, make some sacrifices and leave the excuses if you really want it
. 💫Remove at least some of the perfectionist in you, if you fail at being ‘perfect’ you self sabotage and repeat the dangerous cycle
. 💫You can’t live your life on a constant diet. You can’t grow there, you sacrifice health markers and it’s dull.
You don’t appreciate life stressing about being lean and fearing food
. 💫It isn’t all cardio, lifting weights is much more fun...when you know you know...
. 💫There’s a time to be serious and #grind
but there’s also time to be more relaxed and appreciate being in the moment
. 💫You attract into your life what you think and what you feel.
If you feel negative that’s the experience you attract.
If you think positive thoughts you attract positive experiences
. 💫The world presents you with tests and challenges for a reason. Stop and find the teachings in everything
I could go on...
There’s 2 years between these shots, not 2 months...2 YEARS
I would love to tell you I optimised my off season to its greatest advantage.🤦🏼♀️
