But... Absolutely amazing start to my new week. I now feel energized. I feel refreshed. I feel ready for a brand new work week and I feel ready to be the best mom + wife I can be - because I had 40 minutes of “me time” this morning 🙌🏻 It’s crazy how this “morning me time” changes my perspective and helps me see things in a new positive light. •
I challenge you to take some time for YOU today. I promise you’ll feel better afterwards and it will help you be your best in other areas of your life ❤️❤️

I officially caved. I LOVE slow cookers for their efficiency and ability to make everything taste delicious, but the one I had was super old school and didn’t have a timer for automatic turn off🤦🏻♀️ So after seeing such rave reviews of the Instant Pot I finally gave in and purchased the 9 in 1 (from Marshall’s for cheaper than most other places) which basically does everything a girl could dream for🤗 So far I’ve only used the slow cooker feature (literally got it yesterday) but if anyone has any tips, tricks, or gotta try recipes, please send them my way!!

Defiantly struggled this morning. Last week was not my week. I barley worked out. I didn’t eat the best but kept in mind trying for healthier options. It was a long but quick weekend away and I’m just exhausted. Trying to figure out why I’ve been nauseas a lot lately (no I’m not pregnant🙄) and fix the dang problem.
I need a good week off of work to relax and get things together 😔

Ive had a bit of break from social media the last week as i had some very upsetting news in regards to my health.
So lets talk invisible disease..
Even though i look like this. My body is unwell. And it does not matter what i do. How fit i am. How strong i am both physcially and mentally. Or what medicaltions i take.
THERE IS NO CURE... (endometriosis & adenomyosis)
Over the last 3 years i had to give up my fighting career which was my whole world. I had to stop training others as a PT as i could barely train myself. And i had to give up a lot of things people take for granted everyday.
You see...When you try so hard to be the best verison of yourself that you can be. Yet your body does the opposite it becomes very hard to stay positive at times as you feel you are constantly letting yourself down. However i always try to remain positive... Because life could ALWAYS be worse.
So here are some things i am greatful for...
▪Although i sometimes cannot get out of bed for days. At least i can get out bed. Some people cannot.
▪Although i cannot fight for Australia anymore. Atleast i made 2 Olympic Shadow Teams, won 8 national titles, represented my country and won international medals. Many people could not achieve what i did. And i am and always will be proud of myself.
▪Although i have had to change many things in my life and i have been left disappointed more times than i can count. I still control my life and always strive for the things most. I have a good fulltime job that i enjoy. I have a beautiful partner. We own a house together. I am so lucky!!
These are just examples of things i am greatful for.
Always try to find the good in a bad situation. Always smile when you can. Take in your surroundings and be greatful for what you have. Not what you dont have. 💥
Live your life. And be great!

Slept in the morning - was so sleepy 😴 so got my workout in the evening after work! Did the prenatal kettlebells which I loved! I really like that I’m getting cardio and that HIIT feeling, which I really miss! The hubs jumped in on the second photo post a 5km run! 31 weeks today 😍💙 grow baby grow!

Like I’ve always said, ladies if you are not training your upper body we got to change that reallllll quick OKAY.... It’s all about having that balanced frame (with maybe an extra little summin summin on the booty)
1️⃣Military Press: Three Seconds Down before shooting back up. The press is amazing for the anterior delts which is the front part of your shoulder essentially: 10 Reps 4 Sets
2️⃣Raises: I want you to perform 10 reps at a moderate tempo, raising your arms just about chin height, followed by 15 fast tempo half reps which will BURN: 25 Reps Total 3 Sets
3️⃣Rotations: 4 Rotation raise, bring back down and repeat again: Repeat 8 Times 4 Sets
4️⃣Seated Face Pulls: 10 Reps with a 3 Second Hold, 3 Sets

Fitness Tip: Focus
Sometimes, we come to the gym with a lot on our mind. It's important to use this time to be cleared of distractions. 🍃✨
By being present during a workout, we are able to work on focusing on muscle activation, the quality of each rep, good form, and improving our mind-body connection. 😌💕
