The Cathedral of Saint Mary of Burgos, Spain 🇪🇸 (Spanish: Catedral de Santa María de Burgos) is a Catholic church dedicated to the Virgin Mary located in the Spanish city of Burgos. Its official name is Santa Iglesia Catedral Basílica Metropolitana de Santa María de Burgos. Its construction began in 1221, following French Gothic patterns. It went through major changes in the 15th and 16th centuries: the spires of the main facade, the Chapel of the Constable and dome of the transept, elements of the advanced Gothic which give the temple its unmistakable profile. The last works of importance (the Sacristy or the Chapel of Saint Thecla) were constructed in the 18th century.

'Just because my path is different doesn't mean I'm lost '
Sometimes the best moments are the ones you didn’t plan at all ✧ The truth is, I plan everything on holidays, from sights to see, where to eat, what to photograph, where to stay. I plan absolutely everything ✧ But today I decided to live on the wild side haha and spontaneously convince Mum (which took a whole 2 seconds) to get matching tattoos! 1 hour later we were inked up ✧ We absolutely love it, you can see what we got on my stories!

“SMART TOURISM NETWORK” WILL BE ESTABLISHED IN SPAIN
Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Reyes Maroto announced the creation of the Smart Tourism Network, whose goal is to develop a new tourism business model based on innovation, technology, environmental friendliness and accessibility.
From 25 to 27 June in Oviedo, the Second World Congress on Intelligent Tourism was held, with the participation of the World Tourism Organization (OMT), the Government of Spain and the Government of Asturias. More than 80 international experts of the sector spoke at the meeting, and 600 participants gathered to discuss their reports, including politicians, researchers and representatives of the private commercial sector.
Among the topics discussed were the digital transformation of tourism, the importance of the information base for increasing competitiveness and the need to use new technologies for environmental development.
Seven round tables discussed such important concepts as Big Data, artificial intelligence, Internet of things IoT, Location Intelligence, cloud computing, blocking and virtual and augmented reality. All these technologies will help to make a revolution in modern tourism.
A few days before the start of the congress, with the help of hashtag # Hack4SD, an action was implemented that allowed innovative companies and start-ups to present their projects offering technological ways to improve the maintenance and increase the attractiveness of specific tourist destinations.

Our vacation photos were all awkward selfies and even more awkward individual shots (who feels me on those 🤦🏻♀️) till we traveled with the incredible @ddskline
! Here we walked an uncomfortably steep incline to arrive at this vantage point before discovering an escalator. Still happy - although we’re probably thinking about the endless tapas we now deserved. Hungry (literally and figuratively) for another trip back to Europe!
Ripartita per un altro viaggio, ma non dimentico Madrid: parco con vista 😍
Something a bit different today... hope you like it

Fact: The architect of this park, Antoni Gaudí, never included straight lines in his designs. He claimed there were none in nature so instead, he favored slanted lines or organic curves which mimic the way objects such as trees, shells, plants and rocks are formed.
