This morning, I did just under 20km (it was supposed to be 21km, and I would've been fine with that, too!) on #Squamish
trails. With rather non-technical trails and only about 750m of elevation gain concentrated into a few hills, there was quite a lot of #running
to be done, and this was my longest (in km, by about 7km, in time, by about 20 mins - ha! Gotta love #trailrunning
relativity) in quite some time, and I can't even tell you how happy, giddy, and grateful I was. I'm pretty happy I'm still able to pull that off with little build-up, and can't wait to keep building back up!
Apparently, my "lazy" winter of ultimate, yoga, and lighter running and hiking/snowshoeing *did* keep me sorta fit.
Also, I'm forever so fascinated by the crispness of snow lines, how #skunkcabbage
flowers are so pretty and yet stinky, and how #sunlight
shines through the #trees
