How was the experience like, you ask? It’s overwhelmingly subjective, not gonna be the same for everyone. Personally, the fusion of steepness and whiteout seized me. There was no time for speculation.

Days at the lake can easily turn into the highlight of the summer. With shorts and sandals already on display, now is the time to get a jump on preparing for the warm days to come.

I think it’s interesting that after many centuries this waterfall will eventually be further upstream from where this photo was taken. I wonder if they’ll extend the trail, or if future humans will even retain an admiration for the outdoors. I suppose only time will tell.
