Take every chance you get in life because some things only happen once...💫
I been feeling at a little bit of a loss these past few weeks, a lots happened and I was starting to lose hope for something good to come along but these past few days have really started to turn around, and today I want to really celebrate because...
😁😁I’VE GOT A PLACE IN THE LONDON MARATHON!!!! 🥳🥳🥳
I’ll be honest, I thought that I could apply for years on end and never get a place but this is my first year and I’m so excited to run for @thestrokeassociation
!! When I was in high school, my dad had a stroke. I didn’t know what was going on or how to handle it. Years later, he had another one that left him permanently disabled. He became a completely different person. Everything changed from that moment on and I try my best not to let my responsibilities to take care of my family get in the way of my own life but I’ve come to terms with the fact that I have to live my life differently to other people. I know my dad struggles every day, I get worried everytime my phone rings, I get nervous if the house goes really quiet, I get scared when he leaves the house every morning. But that’s why I’m here to support the campaign.
A couple years ago I did a stair rush for charity climbing up 16 flights of stairs, it was tough. This time around I wanna run the biggest and the best and for a charity thats really near and dear to my heart. I’m excited, nervous, and thrilled to be running for #teamstroke
next year and I hope you’ll all join my journey and support me in doing so ☺️❤️😋
