One of our last mornings on Maui, catching the sunrise at mile marker 38 on the road to Hana. This morning in particular was soooo windy it was rare I wasn’t holding my hat or my moms hand. It was glorious, as it always is. But back to reality. Trying to get back into the rhythm of being wife & mommy, among other duties. My hat is my tribute to keep playing though. Life is too short! Aloha Maui, it was FUN.
Often when we’re taking risks or making big decisions, our fear will be pulling us in the other direction, telling us not to do it. It is so much more comfortable to stay where we are. But every moment you spend listening to your fear, you’re making that voice louder, and soon it becomes so loud that it overpowers your intuition.
Anytime you’re debating a big decision, ask yourself , “am I not wanting to do this because I’m scared?”. If yes, make a conscious effort to tune out your fear, and instead listen to your heart. Yes, taking risks is hard, but it also leads to the best rewards 🤗✌️
